how long a wait is it usually from submitting your job application to sitting the standard entrance test?

Hi Raymond, at the moment with covid, it's difficult to give an exact timeline, but my clients have been anywhere between 3 to 9 months this year. Delays are still expected in to 2021, but hopefully timescales will start to reduce. Applicants are currently being told to expect a 12 to 18 month timescale from application to appointment.

How likely is it to be accepted into training/recruitment without a current drivers licence?
I am working towards it but will I have to wait til I pass to become a recruit? I am eager to join the force and make a difference hopefully in my local community

Unfortunately, you need a full manual license. It's the main thing holding me back tbh
