Good luck trying to find award space on any of the mentioned routes. Disappointment ranges from mixed cabinets awards with business class to the first hub within one hour flight or dynamic pricing at exorbitant amount of points if Air Canada has flights to the destination
I work part-time for Air Canada, and the perks for flying are insane. Yes, it is standby, but if you fly in the middle of the week in the morning, 95% of the time, I get signature class for 300 bucks round trip.
I've been shopping many of those routes for a departure in 4 months and found NOTHING close to the redemption that are mentioned in this video. This video in only showing the lower bracket of the price...which is only accessible is you redeem a year in advance
It may take a while or some work but you can actually find some flights as described in the video. i got a very sick Toronto to Singapore round trip with both one air canada and a star alliance partner, totalling 4 flights, 23 hours business and 21 hours economy. The business portions in cash were over 15K CAD. So just keep looking. You may find what you seek when you least expect it. And itll sure be memorable once you achieve it. Looking forward to make something similar happen again.
yeah I agree with most comments here, every AC flight on aeroplan is dynamically priced to the moon. with partner arlines are either not avialable or ghost availabilites at this point. I have been looking for a toronto to taipei/tokyo/doha/riyadh/etc on a partner airline and have been coming up with 0 availability for 2 ppl.
It’s dynamic pricing something he didn’t even mention which is the main reason why it’s so hard because every single thing is like triple then their chart
@@gregper Because that’s not a real “reward booking”. You’re just using points to pay for a “cash booking”. The class code for reward booking are only the following: O (Stat Alliance first class, if first class is offer by airline), I (Star Alliance business class including AC), X (Star Alliance economy class including AC), N (AC premium economy class). If you combine some of these 4 codes, with at least one segment NOT operated by AC, then the price will be fixed.

It's almost impossible to book business on set points. I usually see them around 300k points.

Hi I’m looking for a flight from YVR or a positioning flight to KUL in May 2025. What’s the best way to check availability? Seats aero premium?
I’m actually disappointed that I got Aeroplan cc because I still can’t find any good seats mentioned in this video
Looking to book with Air Newzealand from Vancouver to Auckland return. Would truely appreciate how to book.
Thanks
I'm Trying to get to Sydney From Toronto this January
What would be best way to book with Partner's airline using Aeroplan points? Is it better to call Aeroplan or using their website?
Sadly Aeroplan won’t do the leg work for you, so you’ll have to find the availability yourself (online).

And, even a year in advance, still next to impossible.

I love the Lufthansa rubber ducks! Need more of them 👀🦆
I’m pretty sure JFK-SIN (or vice versa) costs only 87.5K (business lowest) or 103.5K (business flexible) point, and not 115K points. 7:02
Good catch! You’re correct

I was recently able to book Tokyo to JFK class one way for 100k points about a year out.
What do you think about yvr - Seoul - Singapore for 92.5k aeroplan points in business?
@@calico_nova this should be a 87.5K/103.5K pts route. But 92.5K is still not bad.
ana doesnt show up on aeroplan anymore no ?
Aeroplan provides near 0 business class tickets internationally
Booked my flight Toronto to Turks and Caicos for next year June. Cost me 62,000 points round trip, direct flight.
Is that good deal?
Not enough information to determine - you need to know what the regular cost would be to determine the CPM
Think I might use them instead of virgin for my next travel redemption
Every time I look to book business overseas on points, it is well over 300k in points one way? What am I doing wrong?
It’s dynamic pricing something he didn’t even mention which is the main reason why it’s so hard because every single thing is like triple then their chart
Air Canada-operated flights are subject to dynamic pricing. Partner airline flights are not, with some exceptions (such as Emirates).

It's literally what this video is explaining. Did you even watch?
i wouldnt sit in a airport bubble bath... when ton of other people been in it.
Let's be honest: AC business class is NOT luxury travel
Isn't Zurich Airport ZRH? You put ZUR...
