I totally agree with you!! So as it turns out, I play with my hands for me and to compose, but if I’m going to record, more often than not, I’ll use the mallets…just for that purity of sound…💕🛸🎶🦋
These drums are truly amazing ….best tongue drums EVER!! Their voices are crazy beautiful … pure and strong .. no metallic sound at all … just hauntingly beautiful clear tones … When I play them, they just draw me into another realm and I get totally lost. Y’all hit it out of the ball park with the Woody Tritones for sure!! Without question, I will be highly recommending them to people…. Love them!! 🥰🛸🎶🦋
I was just gifted this beautiful drum from my mother who just passed away last week. It will have even more significance to me now. I have a question for you, where did you get your two-sided mallets and what amp are you using?
Here’s the link for the video I did on the mallets …. facebook.com/share/sMTCHKUGvnoeztt6/?mibextid=WC7FNe As far as the amp, I have two .. I use either a small one by Fender or a medium size one by Bose …
I am so sorry about your Mother. Thank you for sharing because I spent a little more $$$ than I can afford, but wanted something nice to pass down to my kids and grandkids, so I needed this comment today. ❤❤❤
Hello may i enquire as to what type of jack plug is used for connecting the amp to my tongue drum. I have tried a couple of connectors .When the sound is omitted from the drum with me playing the drum a low humming noise is apparent . I have a classic kosmosky tongue drum . Any advice would be most appreciated . Thank you 🤗
@@annroutley1419 … Hi there!! Actually, these jack plugs were already installed in both Kosmosky’s Woody Tritones and the New Wave 15 that I have, but I don’t know what kind they use. However, before I got those instruments I had four of the classic Kosmosky Tongue Druns and I would just use a regular microphone placed overhead and then hooked up to an amp and never had any problems. 🛸🎶🦋
😊
@@annroutley1419 .. 🙏🏼… Thanks for popping in to check it out!! ☺️🛸🎶🦋
Thank you 🤗 for helping me out. I will search for a new connector and have a go again 😊
mallets are more clear here. . . beautiful either way.

@ I sure missed being there. It just wasn’t in the cards for me attending this year.
I sure I’ll be more able next year.

So nice! I don’t see a woody Tritone model with an amp hookup. Did you add the pickup yourself? Thanks
No … all their Woody’s come with a pick up … sorry for late reply … didn’t receive a notification and just happened to see this….
