That very last place you showed, the one that would need a "lot of elbow grease" There is a trail almost straight across the road from it that goes down over the hill to a nice rock beach amongst the cliffs. Trail is muddy n slippery in places though so careful footing. 👍👍

Thank you so much! 😊 Yes we definitely have, long term sustainability becomes more important the deeper we get into this process. We’re leaning towards larger parcels of land now, to be able to grow more food for animals as well. I am very much wanting to embrace permaculture based methods. There are so many aspects on our future farm that will hopefully work well to support each other, I can’t wait to try out my ideas! Stay tuned 😊

Always enjoy making my own foods and preservatives or canning or "bottling" there definitely is a sense of self satisfaction on the completed project. I applaud your sense of adventure and want to go to this life style. Without realizing it's the style I grew up in a small fishing village on a remote Island on Newfoundlands south coast, I wouldn't change the way I grew up for the world.
