By the Sea is the hardest song to sing in the entire musical, so kudos to the gal. And Johnny Depp is a hard act to follow so kudos to the guy. Overall fantastic
@@allworknopay By the sea was modified for the film, originally it was way longer and HAD LITERALLY NO SPACE TO BREATHE. I tried singing it so many times and I'm always dying there, Worst pies in London seems slightly easier to sing. (honestly I'm a contralto, so I will always be dying when pretending to be a mezzosoprano, but still...)
"By the Sea" it's very difficult to sing because you don't have time to breathe, Helena herself said in an interview. Despite this you were really very good, and there are really similar details to the original version, good, I respect you 👍🏻👏🏻
Yes, we had rehearsed the transition and everything - I was so proud when I found a way to make it work - but then when we were filming the beach scene, the sun ended up setting a little sooner than we anticipated. Glad you still enjoyed it though!
So cute! And I love how you put in a couple of own details; like when he takes away his hand from Mrs Lovett and when he walks over to Toby to help him build a sand castle! :D
That was one of the best fan vids I've EVER seen!!!! (and trust me... I've seen too many!!!) Of course this is also one of my favorite scenes and songs from the movie!!! Michelle you have a lovely voice and are absolutely beautiful as Mrs. Lovett!!! Keep this up ya'll... maybe do 'Have A Little Priest' or 'Worst Pies In London' next!!!
the ATTENTION TO DETAIL!!! You have Toby sitting on the porch steps, you have Toby playing in the background at the beginning, etcetera - you guys did amazing, this is such a gem to have stumbled upon in the middle of the night!! I love the scene you added in with Sweeney going over to Toby, that was absolutely adorable. Oh, my entire heart, this was AMAZING! I know I keep saying that, but I sincerely mean it! I adore this video!!
I'm pretty speechless. The costumes, the background, the acting and the singing were impressive! Michelle did a very good job singing this song and Sweeney was acted so perfectly emotionless... Just like in the film. Great job, guys!
This is SO good. I love the costumes, great performances, and the camera work is great. MAKE MORE SWEENEY, PLEASE. Worst pies in london? A Little Priest?
Oh my goodness, that was brilliant!! Amazing job with the locations and costumes and everything. Really, really great! Very nice voices, too. Don't listen to the haters who are saying you don't sound like HBC. Who cares? You have your own lovely voice. :)
Well, we got lucky that my cousin was willing to stand in the background tossing a ball and sit on the steps.. not the most exciting role ever, but I definitely think he adds to the scene :P
@TheofficialTARDIStv Hey, thank you so much! We put a lot of effort into our remakes, but we also had a lot of fun making them. It's all worthwhile when we see comments like yours, where people recognize that projects like these don't happen without commitment. We were definitely serious about making something we could be proud of - and had a blast in the process. Thank you again for your extremely kind words and for watching!
@DaylightDreamer45 Thanks so much! I think putting the costumes together might have been the hardest part - it definitely took the longest time to figure out! I'm really glad you like what we came up with :D Thanks for watching!
@xSuNfLoWeRsAmUrAix - Thanks so much!! We made our costumes out of stuff we found around our houses or at second-hand stores. Once we found all the pieces, there was minimal sewing involved. For our hair we just used a whole lot of hairspray. Black and white spray for me (Sweeney) and then some bobby pins to get the shape of Lovett's hair. We had a lot of fun, so I hope this helps!! Thanks for watching :D
@DearAgony98 Hey! Thanks :D The bathing suit was four pieces: pants from an old jailbird costume, a long-sleeved white shirt, a striped shirt (with buttons added) and then striped armbands (because the shirt didn't have long enough sleeves >_
@SomeCallMeBarbie We made all of the costumes using a combination of stuff we found around our houses and things we bought at thrift stores - it was a challenge, but incredibly fun! :)
Ramble all you want!!! lol, thank you very much! We're so happy that you enjoyed it and that it exceeded your expectations :D I really want to make more movies now - Thanks again!
@MIS315 Hi there! Yes, we did pre-record the singing and all of the costumes were handmade! I wish we had better lighting for the sunset as well, but our camera wasn't the greatest and it just got too dark :(
This was so great! You got like every last detail in; from the small peck when they get married, to Mr. Todd putting his hand on Mrs. Lovett's knee for a moment, to the ending- how she had her legs crossed and how she was sitting with Mr. Todd and Toby. Well done!
this is so incredibly outstanding its being added to my favorites. i am in love with the one outfit you put together, the one with the long white dress thing with the red over coat. then the costumes for the guy who played mr. todd were absolutely spot on. this is so fantastic.
Hey! Thanks for watching. We had to make our instrumental track ourselves. If I remember correctly, we used the 'Centre Channel Extractor' Filter in Adobe Audition to reduce the vocals. Good Luck!
WHOA! this was truly amazing!!!!! you both sound amazing! i swear when i was first listening I thought it was from the movie! also, great job! the outfits were matching to the movie for most of them!! awesomeness guys!! :D
@threescoreandten Thank you so much! It definitely took some work to get everything together, but it really was incredibly fun :D I'm really glad you liked it!
well done it sounds fantastic. whenever i watch these i worry that they wont live up to the origional but this is fantastic!!! everythings just great!!!!more than great!
@Fynn - We made our costumes ourselves! It took a while to find all of the different pieces we needed to try to match the look of the movie, but it was a lot of fun :D We had a great time, so I hope you can find some fellow fans to work on a project with you :) Thanks for watching!
This is just soooooo awesome! i love how u did ur hair and the clothes! its amazing that you could get them look so much like the real ones!! once again amazing! :D
Thank you so much! It did take quite some time to plan everything and get the filming and editing done - but it was an awesome summer project :D Thanks for watching, glad you liked it!!
Johnny and Helena are brilliant actors i dont think there's someone who really can imitate their facial expression but ... the singing, the costumes, this careful preparation and interpretation well everything, you guys did an awesome job!!!! love you video xD
By the Sea is the hardest song to sing in the entire musical, so kudos to the gal. And Johnny Depp is a hard act to follow so kudos to the guy. Overall fantastic
Mr. K the hardest song to sing in this whole musical is the worst pies in London because she has to change her breath and the speed in her voice.
But Helena Bonham carter makes it seem so flawless and easy
@@allworknopay By the sea was modified for the film, originally it was way longer and HAD LITERALLY NO SPACE TO BREATHE.

I didn’t know that! That’s cool. How it is not Green Finch & Linnet Bird?!
In my opinion I think “the worst pies in London” is the hardest song to sing
I am surprised at how well done this video was, voices and visuals.
_Mr.Todd is you when you have an exam in university tomorrow , but you didn't prepare for it ..._

I love how he manage to look even more miserable than Johnny does xD
That Sweeney is amazing

You guys did so amazing; I can't believe how detailed and professional this is :D
Did you darling creatures make the costumes your self this vido is amazing
This is awesome.
I'm pretty speechless. The costumes, the background, the acting and the singing were impressive! Michelle did a very good job singing this song and Sweeney was acted so perfectly emotionless... Just like in the film.
Great job, guys!
Wow this is 12 years ago...
This is SO good. I love the costumes, great performances, and the camera work is great. MAKE MORE SWEENEY, PLEASE. Worst pies in london? A Little Priest?

When your mom buys off-brand cereal.
Miranda Newbury Ah... the Apple
Express cereal of Sweeney Todd
But it turns out to be as good as brand one
Oh my goodness, that was brilliant!! Amazing job with the locations and costumes and everything. Really, really great! Very nice voices, too. Don't listen to the haters who are saying you don't sound like HBC. Who cares? You have your own lovely voice. :)

We just made sure the sky was as clear as possible and faded the two clips together in the editor. Thanks for watching :D
Thank you very much! We took the time to record and mix the song ourselves, so it's frustrating to be accused of lying. Thanks for backing us up! :D
Not to mention the fact that we had to work around eveyone's jobs and whatnot! The actual filming was done over 3-ish days.
@speedyboi1996 Thanks! It's great to hear that you appreciated the camera work :D Thanks for watching!
