My parents subscribed to a local theatre company in San Mateo. For a couple decades at least they saw four plays a year. They always returned with good reviews but the one I actually remember my dad talking to me about, in awe of both the story and music, is Sweeney Todd.

He has an amazing way of seeing things, and he puts out such amazing work that I have always loved and will always love.
Plus there’s Johnny who’d go on to play Grindelwald in Fantastic Beasts and Jamie who’d already played Grindelwald in the regular HP films. This movie was full of Harry Potter actors! 💛
Timothy Spall* Also, basically, it's Snap r*ping old Grindelwald's wife and wanting to marry his daughter with Peter Pettigrew as his little henchman, while young Grindelwald also wants to marry old Grindelwald's daughter (is that even legal?!) and Bellatrix Lestrange simps for old Grindelwald, and Borat/Brüno hops onto the show for his own little party. There's also a Gryffinpuff first year killing off old Grindelwald, while young time-travelling Grindelwald and old Grindelwald's daughter elope and sail towards the sunset.
The fact they weren't singers gave it a certain charm to it that I loved and I'm not a huge fan of musicals. Also rip Alan Rickman, he still amazes me with his acting with the character he plays as his real personality is so different.
I was very surprised hearing Professor Snape (yes, I know that character is completely from a totally different movie) sing in this movie! Great movie. Love Helena Bonham Carter and Johnny Depp as well!

I thoroughly enjoyed this whole narration of this film.
i love Helena
Me too😍more for all
HER VOICE IS BEATUFUL
Alan Rickman, Helena Bonham Carter and the actor playing the Beedle; were on a break from the Harry Potter films, let's do another film
And then Johnny Helena and alan did Alice and wonderland together later💃🏽
@@powerpuff_avenger Oh my God 🤦♀️🤦♀️ !!
@@powerpuff_avengerdon’t forget the random Volturi that swooped in to steal said daughter 😂
The fact they weren't singers gave it a certain charm to it that I loved and I'm not a huge fan of musicals. Also rip Alan Rickman, he still amazes me with his acting with the character he plays as his real personality is so different.
We’ve got bellatrix, snape, wormtail, grindelward all in the same room!
I was very surprised hearing Professor Snape (yes, I know that character is completely from a totally different movie) sing in this movie! Great movie. Love Helena Bonham Carter and Johnny Depp as well!
Basically, it's Snap r*ping old Grindelwald's wife and wanting to marry his daughter with Peter Pettigrew as his little henchman, while young (probably time travelling) Grindelwald also wants to marry old Grindelwald's daughter (is that even legal?!) and Bellatrix Lestrange simps for old Grindelwald, and Borat/Brüno hops onto the show for his own little party. There's also a Gryffinpuff first year killing off old Grindelwald, while young time-travelling Grindelwald and old Grindelwald's daughter elope and sail towards the sunset.
They were perfect for those roles! I can't imagine any other actor and any other actress to portray Sweeney Todd and Mrs. Lovett.
Rest in peace prof snape aka Alan Rickman
Fantastic movie the way it combines beauty with horror.
"Not one person on earth had heard Johnny sing and he's the star of the picture." Ooof 😂
One of my favorite movies
One of my favorite movies of all time
And she was pregnant and singing in a corsette as well
This Movie is why I can't eat meat pies to this day !! Love the Movie Hsve Always Loved Johnny... hoping his career will get back on track and amber gets hers for lying !!
I thought it was just me! Lol. I moved to Australia 5 years ago and they love their meat pies here but I can't get myself to have a single bite because of this film. 😂
