    Low light plans are the right choice, which can bring beautiful look to our aquarium without having to give so much lights. Java Fern is a great plant which can look good in every light conditions. The leaf structure of the plant is very unique. Anubias Barteri is the best plant to have in our aquarium. The plant can grow easily without having us to worry about it being eaten by fish. Thank you so much for doing this video.

    Java Moss seems to be the most convenient as it is one of the easiest to grow in low light aquariums and as it also grows in almost every condition.

    Pearl Weed (dwarf baby tears) is not for low light tank. Usually, brightly green colored plants need more light

    • @jazzkatt1919
      @jazzkatt1919 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think most of the "carpeting" plants suggested here really only form a good, thick carpet in higher light. Under low light, they tend to get taller and leggier, from what I understand.

    • @Schah375
      @Schah375 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Pearl weed is not baby tears. You can use pearl weed as carpeting plant if you trim it regularly. It will grow horizontally instead of vertically.
      Scientific name for dwarf baby tears is Hemianthus callitrichoides “cuba“.

      I love looking at peoples face when I buy fish along with an aquarium. You can tell I’m being judged, but jokes on them I have too many tanks already. 😂
      To your question, I keep my new fish in a “medical” tank. To ensure they don’t have anything wrong.
      But I do have a ton of cycled filter media and other stuff which help.
      Otherwise aquariumstoredepot is correct. Wait to buy the fish. Your impatience can kill the fish. Especially if the “good” bacteria isn’t established and bad bacteria or other pathogens can take over

    I have absolutely no idea why, but the lady's voice in this video reminds me of that crazy blonde chick from my hero acedemia. funny thing is i haven't even really watched mha like, at all, i only know of the crazy girl character cuz of people talking about her and ofc i've seen like clips from the show and stuff. don't really know exactly why this lady reminds me of that, i think it's just something about the way she puts more enthusiasm in her voice for the video.
    most content creators don't talk irl the way they do in their videos, some do, but most usually play their voice up a bit more and will try to make it sound louder or more enthusiastic which isn't a bad thing (actually in many cases it's a good thing) but idk, i just felt like pointing it out for some reason.

      @AquariumStoreDepot  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Ludwigia natans ‘Super Red’ would be the best to try. However it’s not really a low tech plant. It require more advanced lighting and does better with CO2. All red plants need iron to stay red. I’ll do a video on red plants in the future

    • @AquariumStoreDepot
      @AquariumStoreDepot  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Low light refers to the PAR output that the plants grow in. Low tech refers to plants that grow without the use of CO2. Both terms are used interchangeably
