The simplicity of this video is great. Most other videos about this wouldve had 20-30 minutes of filler. Keep it up.

These look and feel just like the airgear ATs! So sick, also reminds me of mega man legends roller feet upgrade hahaha

if you feel 40kph is sufficient maybe just put 1 motor in the front of the skate and take half the weight off it by having a normal back wheel, then you can go 1-foot-in-front and the rear foot is the drive wheel. idk tho, just spitballin, great video, i always wanted powered wheelys

Was the show that inspired you called Air Gear by chance?

f yeah! air gear anime life! woohooo!!! maybe energy recovery braking next for longer distance travel? or building batteries into the boot itself & using oil bearing to help with friction if possible? I've genuinely always wanted to make these thanks to that manga & a couple of old movies I watched as a kid! I finally got a 3d printer, the qidi x-max 3 & have been unable to get anywhere with it yet thanks to several issues & it being my first one ever. which doesn't help, as much as there is user error there is some slightly bad design with being able to properly set it up with updates, the distance probe, etc etc. Doesn't matter, I'd go with it was both lol!
Hope to see you progress & grow! cool video dude, keep it up :)

    Tips for stability:
    - Having your feet next to each other gives you less stability. You want a diagonal offset to increase front/back stability while maintaining side to side stability, otherwise when you accelerate you'll find at times your feet will flip out from under you.
    - Humans are inherently top heavy. Crouching will make you feel more stable.
    - A wider stance will increase your stability as well. Whatever feels comfortable, as long as your feet aren't close together.

love it. but pls find what ever is rubbing and stop it for your own sake. sounds like the wheel is rubbing against the housing. very cool however.

Nice project. Stability would be better if they are much longer , and to send power via chains to more wheels. And suspension.

As a great man once said, nothing is illegal if the police does not see it. Jokes aside, würde die Polizei da was machen? Ich dachte bis zu einer bestimmten Motorenleistung brauchen so sachen keine zulassung. Aber tbh keine Ahnung

Most products like this need to have a 25km/h speed governor in the EU, or the cops will fine you. For example the onewheels can be unlocked to go 60km/h, but the cops will stop you long before that
