Love that girls reaction when you run by her, your pace compared to normal runners mind blowing
this feels like og fogdog content, i love it
What an absolutely extreme treat that is
@adam_fogg Just like banana bread
Love the father/son dynamic you guys have!
Always a good day when fogdaddy is on the bike
@@adam_fogg Ya, especially when he comes through it unscathed (not hitting any dogs).
Nice run. Yeah, folk tend to forget that recovery is a big benefit of wearing supershoes for these long runs.
If the recovery gets easier, then clearly the work out is easier. You get out what you put in. Super shoes make you think you did a good workout when in fact it was the shoes.
@@PHOTON-v3rnever wore super shoes before wear a good pair of asics gel nimbus for all my runs as it is too expensive to get multiple pairs of shoes for me. What do super shoes feel like and do they really make such a difference? Thanks
Yes they definitely make a difference, but I wouldn’t agree at all that ‘super shoes make you think you did a good workout when in fact it was the shoes’. Do you think Kiptum was just some average runner who put on a pair of super shoes and ran a 2:00 marathon? They certainly make things smoother, but you’re still working. It just means you’re able to run for a long time, at a strong pace, and feel good in the following days. On easy days then normal trainers are good, purely for ensuring you actually get some proper work in! Workout days are recovery days (thanks to super shoes)!
Great video drop. You make it look easy, but I know too well that it is not. I remember watching you doing this run when you did it last time. I was impressed then , but you looked even smoother this time around. Good things to happen in 2025.
Thank you Ward! Hope your training is going well!
Nice run. And Dad hanging in there with the rain!
Rain hail or shine
Another breakout year for Fogg dog im thinking
Banger of a video
Thank you legend
Hi buddy! Impressive run!
@@GreyhoundBusJan thanks Mr greyhound bus Jan
The fact your a 3:49 miler but still able to hold 3:20 k pace for 30k is insane. Must have a very high vo2 max
vo2 max not directly relevant for a run like this, but high lactate thresholds for sure
@ yes, it is. You couldnt do a run like this without having a high vo2 max. 99% of the world population cant run 1k at this pace, hes running 30k. I have a vo2 max of 71 and the pace hes running is exactly my half marathon pace, so due to his heart rate at the pace i can only assume his would be higher than 71
There's running economy to consider, too, and he looks a very efficient runner.
Lol this is barely even faster than a jog for someone on his level
@@matthanna1980 yeah 100%. Looks so smooth at these paces
Nice!
❤️
Bro is not human 😭🙏
I beg to differ buddy
Baña bread 🍌 🍞 🔥
