great vid man! im planning on buying this microphone to be used for streaming and gaming and i was wondering what kind of boom arms could i use for this?
@@gertrofelixeiman1517 im using a cheap boom arm and it works fine. There is ones on aliexpress with mic clamps to hold the mic. For a ceap price like 12 dollars sometimes eaven cheaper.
@@kamratdennis hey! the arm arrived early but the microphone is still coming on jan 2nd. how would i go about setting it up the arm+mic? do i need a shock mount or anything like that? cheers
@@gertrofelixeiman1517 ok as long as the boom arm has a mic clamp i would say your fine. it dont need to be that fancy. but so you have a external soundcard / audio interface? caus that is something you might need if you dont have one. as a reminder. in what country do you live? i could try recomend some with links if i know what part of the world i should start looking.
Hi I just bought it yesterday and I’m using it as my main microphone for vocals, but I’m having hard time to cut the low end frequency and sit well in my mix. I’m using focusrite 2nd gen as my audio interface and connect it to XLR input. It also sounds too boxy in a dry sound. Do you put post processing effects or EQ on your end? It sounds clear and awesome.
In the video there is no post prosesing. But when i stream live with obs i ad limiter compressor eq and a gain. Where did you buy your mic from ? Maybe your mic coulf be faulty or maybe its a different capsule in yours. After all its a budget mic and feels like a generic mic with a brand slaped on it.
