- Hello everyone!!
Thank you so much for watching another video.
This time I decided I wanted to drive Macho with the carriage again.
It has been a while since he pulled the carriage so he was very excited. I know a lot of people would know better how to do it and this was very hectic lets just say haha. But don't worry I really know my horses and we can just be a bit easier with things. Of course Macho learned this really well and we have done it a lot so it is safe but he was just very excited.
But just make sure you dont see this as an example for how to do it!
Macho is always full of energy and likes to work. After he got some energy out it was very enjoyable and we had a lot of fun!
The carriage is really light and once you are moving it doesnt take any power to keep going.

It's just so sweet seeing 2 young men being respectful and so caring for their horses. Most the guys I've worked with would never think to brush off a pony or clean up the cart! Jesse and Matt are renewing my faith in this world, and, of course, horses never hurt either!

I was working with my green gelding and desided to try a trot on lunge. I told my mother "I'm probably going to fall off, and this is going to hurt." He dumped me in the street because he was espooped. Going to get him a round pen.

Macho is such A pleasure to watch! So full of energy and beautiful. I loved hearing his feet on the pavement just clicking away all full of himself. 😊 And yes, would love to see Macho and Bear together doing something . Macho is so sweet and has wonderful manners with a carriage. You live in a beautiful area, thank you for taking us along on your adventure.
As a carriage driver with my miniature horses I loved this video,. Good job on all of you! Macho really seemed to have a good time. My only concern is no helmets for you two. Just as with riding it only takes a moment for an accident and I'd hate to see anything happen to you guys. I look forward to more driving videos :-)

It was pure comedy, how Macho looked around while you were getting onto the trap to see where you were at, then took off before you sat down ! He,He, fabulous.

I LOVE this video! It's so hard to keep small ponies in work and interested in exercise. This is the perfect solution and it's obvious Macho just adores pulling his carriage. Well done, all of you! :)
Might be good to teach him to be calm around wheelchairs, he could be a therapy pony. I'm inn a wheelchair and used to go to a ranch for disabled kids that had a bunch of American Shetlands. They were great to work with.
That's only really a think in the US. Not a whole lot of other countries have therapy programs that have minis/horses.
@@devyndaisy5162 we do have it in Switzerland, I think that's also a thing in Europe. Not necessarily with Shetlands but regular horses or pony

It reminds me of someone i used to work for, his grand daughters pony used to do the exact same thing when she hadn't been driven for a while 😆 we had no control for the first 10mins until she burnt some energy! Used to be so much fun!. I miss driving, would love to see more of this jesse, your shetland is so cute 😊

Ok I know this was filmed about a year ago... but held up in my house in a snow storm before I go out to the barn to care for our 18 horses some are boarded with us) on a Wisconsin farm...this gave me SO MUCH JOY!! 💞💞😁THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!💞💞

I am always astounded at how much small ponies seem to enjoy being driven and how excited they can get. I got to try it once with a Welsh A; I was worried about tiring him out and he just wanted to keep going!

This was lovely. Ponies are a blessing and a challenge. So cute but so stubborn. Macho is adorable. My favorite is in another video where is he demanding butt scratches! One of my Scottish Terriers is the same. Thank you for this. I hope we see more of Macho and Bear.

Matt & Jesse- you guys should try Combined Driving. It is wicked, Wicked FUN! Dressage, marathon and cones. When your horse loves it like my pony does- it is even more exciting and fun. Glad everyone was safe and the grass will be okay.

He trains all types of carriage horses from heavy draft to ponies to even shetland and mini horses. His videos are very informative. I especially like the area he's made to train horses not to spook. Take a look at some of his videos, they may give ideas. But thanks again for the entertainment.
I'm not a lover of shetlands but this is the best Shetland I've ever seen, he cracks me up. He looks like so much fun 😂
