It was surreal seeing my exit on your video...lol I've been distracted with adjusting to retire life, so got behind on your videos. It was after 4:00 P.M. when I arrived Joshua Tree park in 2017. And I got a lot of beautiful pictures in the sunset, for all the trees stand in the golden light. So impressive. Thanks for calling this good memory back from your vlog.

Beautiful sunset Robert...Love that Joshua tree park...I wonder what a group of goats would do in a field of them. The Jackrabbit doesn't need a cell booster, he has his own satellite dishes....I bet he exercises his ears everyday and can hear really great. What a size of ears eh? Seriously love those mountains colors at sunset. There is nothing like living in the mountains. We were there the 2nd week of March. We came in the South entrance and saw the BLM land but we'd already made a reservation for Cottonwood. Fortunately we couldn't fit in well enough so we gave up our spot and stayed about 100 yards West of where you were. GREAT spot in the middle of the "Supper Bloom" . The car & bicycle next to you were still there when we left. Way past the 14 day limit ! The flora & fona were much more alive with color than your video depicts. Sea's of orange, purple, white & yellow desert flowers. Its all about the timing; and ares was just pure luck.

I like how you warn people of dangers in the areas you are in. I think sometimes people on vacation don't think about danger because they are so enjoying their trip. Every place we visit has things we might not know about. I lived in Mississippi and you just know not to walk in tall grass or swim in some places. People in New England can walk in tall grass and swim in ponds, they go to south and don't know about the critters.

For your future information Robert, Yucca trees is pronounced "yuck-a" not "you-ka". LOL. That's what we call them in CA. And as for the Cholla cactus, what makes them so dangerous is the fact they have barbs on the end of their spines. They get into your skin and won't let go! It's similar to having a fishing hook in your skin. Sometimes it requires getting pliers to get them out. And for anyone visiting the gardens, if you get one in you, you most likely will have more than one spine to deal with. Always remember to pull out the shortest ones first because when you start to pull them out, your skin will stretch and they will keep traveling deeper into your skin. If you pull the longest ones first, the shorter ones could disappear and you'll have to have them professionally taken out. I know this from experience. I was very surprised to hear they had shut the place down. I was shocked. Joshua Tree is one of my favorite places to visit in CA. I'm glad they reopened the park. As for wildlife there - we were driving out of camp one early morning and I got the rare experience of seeing a mountain lion crossing the road. There are a lot of coyotes there too and at night you can start howling and get them all going. It's a fun thing to do at night while sitting around the fire. In the morning I woke up to the coyotes in our camp and they were eating our grapes we had left out. It was at the end of summer so they were real hungry from lack of food.

Love your videos Robert. As a California, orange county/L.A. County resident I apologize for the scenery in downtown L.A, meaning all the dispersed camping that takes place right int he middle of the city thanks to our local politicians.

Nicely done Sir. Joshua Tree is a beautiful place. It is also a great album by U2. Give it a listen if you haven’t. I bet you’d like it. 😊🎼🎸

Your initial attitude toward Joshua Tree is understandable RM. I had the same skepticism when I visited. While everything about Joshua trees and the park is pretty cool, my attitude toward the trees is still kind of "so what?" Most Floridians would look at them and say "Florida is littered with those, or something like them. Not sure how yucca trees and palmettos are related taxonomically or genetically, but mostly what Joshua Tree reminded me of was Florida.

Maybe you could sometimes make a sticker video of each sticker, short story and location?

Why did you skip San Diego? Flying Flags is nice but, you completely missed Jalama Beach. It's a beautiful drive to get there and is a beautiful campsite.

Roberto, que le Paso a Minie Tinie Kia??? Dios Mio! Como llas sabes, soy un abogado Federal en NYC. Vivo en los Hamptons de long Island y tengo un Class C Coachmen Parked on my back yard with only 17k miles on it in one of my Houses. Pero no lo usoI You've inspired me to do so since I have so much to see! And yes, I also flip houses and own Platinum Atist Record and am the house Laywer for my Cousins Franklin Romero Record Label and owner of Aventura. It's called Premium Latin Music! I too compose many of the spanish music you hear on the radio. So, you're welcome to camp out in any one of my houses should you come up this way in Long Island. I'm as humble as they come and down to earth but truly am impressed with your music and videos! In fact, Elvis Crespo is also hooked as is my boy Bachata Height, El Torito, Victor Manuel, La India and her Mother Mama Gloria, and so much more! They're all inspired to buy and travel by your videos!!! Hahahahahaaaa! Dios mio! Keep em coming Brother! So very proud of you and the inspiration you've given us all by your work. Ya tu sabes mi Hermano! Safe travels.

Gracias Ralph. I might be able to finally make it to long island next fall. By the way old Kia died prematurely due to mechanic's negligence but that's old history now.
