I Been a Bose Fanatics since the Early 90s. at 1 Time a Had 18 speakers, Yes Bose 802s in my living room, Lol.Used them for Deejay,Live Shows and Home Listening audio/Video/Movies.Now 1 Have 4 Bose 802 series 3 , 4 Bose 802 Series 2 and 8 Bose 901s.4 Of them Series 5 and the othere 4 Series 6 .They Sound awesome with anything a play on them. Thank you for the Demonstration. What Kind of Amp you test them With?.
@@rking3724 I'm sorry,my mistake,my speakers are gray,not blue, with cotton,not with gum, it is 402,wintage series!!! That's real quality,no gummy around,cotton,300 years can live!!!
The 802 is a speaker designed for live music and sound reinforcement, that's why it projects more and has a long throw frequency range. Your comparing a P. A. speaker with a hifi speaker.
The 901 was designed to have the 8 drivers facing the wall and the single driver forward. Thats to get the direct reflection and better sound.

if you want to listen for quality and details the 901s are much better.
The 802s are loud.

802 is just rawer more direct like the PA unit it is. A wall of in your face.
I have 6 pieces 802...like new!!! With crosses and conections,so,complitely back sides with fuzers!!!

802 is designed for use with bose active eq. So no wonder it doesnt sound warm, if you are not using the eq that these speakers is designed for
