  • In this Tajikistan Travel Vlog, we started on one of the greatest road trips on this planet: The Pamir Highway. Read more about it here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M41_hig... (Gorno-Badakshan Autonomous Region)
    We met with two other curious travellers at Green House Hostel in Dushanbe and found a driver at Hello Dushanbe Hostel with whom we signed up for a nine day excursion. We drove from Dushanbe to Kalai Khum / Darvoz and then onwards to Khorog the capital of the GBAO region. Of course, this is one the priciest things we've done till date while on the road - but we explain why and how much in this series.

    How much have you paid for this pamir highway trip

    • @TheBackpacksters
      @TheBackpacksters  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      The usual rate is USD 300 for a seat in an SUV. Stay and food are extra: free in your own tents to USD 20 for homestays. USD 5 per meal... but to see how much we spent, the video series has all the actual amounts and addresses of where we stayed/ate 🤓

      @@TheBackpacksters yaaa I started watching the series and thank you for the series. Can you share any contacts? Or should I DM u on Instagram?

      Due to the lack of cellular connectivity on the Pamir Highway (mostly), we just walked into homestays and booked it. We organised our trip in Dushanbe - you can check with any backpacker Hostel there or in Khorog to get a seat on a shared tour. Most offer the same price 🤓

      @@TheBackpacksters wow. 300 Usd is expensive for 1 seat.
