- Tajikistan was the sixth country I rode through. The legendary Pamir Highway and Wakhan Valley are dream destinations for any ADV rider and the scenery of this country is absolutely breathtaking and indescribable. The whole time I rode with my mouth wide open and almost forgot about my broken suspension!

Franek was diagnosed with cerebral palsy (weakness of the entire right side of the body) and he will require constant rehabilitation for the rest of his life. I'm 61 and on a slightly different 'adventure' with my wife (we're both from Oz)...been living in Armenia for the last 4 years...sadly no bike! Have to make do exploring the beautiful countryside in our Uaz (Russian 4x4) instead...but maybe a 2WD Ural sidecar is not far on the horizon! Keep safe and stay upright! God bless

Well, I'm looking to ride my T100 Bonneville from Singapore to Bangkok (2,000kms+) as a recci for riding Singapore to Italy via Thailand, China, Central Asia etc.. I have an advantage, I lived in Uzbekistan for 2 years and know all the 'stans' well.
ı have just noticed that I always have a huge smile and sometime a kind of awe and anxiety on my face while watchin your videos.thank you so much .you are an inspiration for me as well as millions of others

Good-on-you for camping in a tent and cooking your own meals - 👏 👏 👏; so Fork Seals and shock seals are small / inexpensive items to carry on long trips and actually commonly fail on rough road RTW - I prefer SKF green heavy duty seals as they are hardier. inspect your seals daily in pre-flight - You can usually reuse the oil if you catch it early.
Would you seriously strip half your bike, remove absorbers, springs... in the middle of nowhere to replace a leaking seal?
Would be great if BMW sent a mobile team out to assist you with the shock. BMW being the brand that sells motorcycles built with world travel in mind should support their product.
BMW helped me big time! They sent new shock to Uzbekistan which is next episode :)
