Conquering World's Toughest Region 🇹🇯

For the final video from central Asia, I traveled to Tajikistan. While there, I learned about the Pamir Mountains. A complex region with lots of ongoing problems surrounded by unfriendly neighbors. On this journey, I explored the Gorno-Badakhshan region and the Pamir Highway. The video showcases the stunning landscapes, the region's unique culture, and the challenges of traveling through this remote region. Enjoy!

Thanks for the video! You bring me to the remote parts of the world that i would otherwise not know about. I wouldn’t mind longer videos either- more food if possible. I know gardens may not be your thing but that probably would have been my favorite part of the journey since I love plants haha. Thanks again 👏

Thanks! I crossed from Tj to Kg. During my recent travels it was open to foreigners with the permission letter from Kg tourism department.

Bro I watched only few minutes of you video and I gotta say, you got almost all of your information about the place wrong. The Pamir Highway does not go through Afg, the civil war did not start because of Pamiris uprising and also couple of other things. We are glad you visited our land and we welcome you here but please check your information before you post it.

The civil war had several causes but the main opposition group was from Gorno-Badakhshan region that lead the war. Regarding the start of Pamir highway is debatable. However, as I mentioned in the video, begins in Afghanistan, ends in Osh. I travel the Soviet built part. The facts were checked!
