@@rodolfobeguiristain He has shot himself in the foot by his own standards. Having to stay dedicated to the joke. Now adays corn mean is the most useful thing in the game, but at one point it was useless. He is so committed to the joke he is willing to miss out on what it can do now.

@Glock9 Thanks for the upload! I have to say, I'm with you on not liking the loot progression now. I did at first. But I think the best fix is to make it adjustable. Like difficulty level and horde nights are. That way you can customize it based on how you want to play. Getting stone tools in a regular game isn't too horrible but, getting those and stone spears from a Shotgun messiah box, several days (and several horde nights) into a 'horde every night' run is murder compared to A18.
Edit: you can craft a baseball bat really easy now, no more bat parts needed so, craft away!
I always use the ‘clubs’. They have been my favorite since A16. Pummel Pete along with a high strength and sexual tyrannosaurus all maxed make for a devastating combo. Steel armor makes you feel really tanky and horde nights are a breeze as you power attack all night. Heads are constantly exploding. Love the channel. Keep it up.

I started playing in Alpha 19, so I'm a new player. This was one of the first POIs I came across and I didn't recognize the dog kennels for what they were. I got two broken bones and a concussion for my trouble. I didn't die though, so there's that.
I did the same. Ran into the building, shut the door and jumped out the back window like the husband came home.
That fire station has to be a horde every night series
When you were walking in front of the kennels i was like, "Get out the shotgun, get out the shotgun!"

Hey Glock9, I had an idea for a series for you. I think it will make it more challenging for you while also not being too repetitive for you, because personally, I can watch you do the same thing over and over and I wouldn't mind.
I haven't figured out a catchy name but here are the rules for this playthrough:
1. On Survivalist difficulty
2. Z's on run during the day and night
3. Z's on nightmare during the horde night
4. Horde night every 2 days
5. Start Game with 1 LVL 2 iron tool (your choice of the tool)
6. Start Game with 1 LVL 2 Pistol, AK, or side-by-side DB shotgun, and HALF a stack needed for the weapon (your choice of weapon)
7. Start game with helmet with a light mod
8. Day Length 90 minutes.
9. Map should be on Random Gen
10. Every 5th horde night you change horde night base and you can't use the old ones again
11. Z's spawn 64 (your favorite)
GOAL: Last for 60 days
I think that's fair, and it gives you a little bit of a head start while also making the game more challenging. I think it will also make it so you have time to adjust between horde night bases, I feel like that has messed up some of your base plans in the past. And by giving you a goal I feel like you'll enjoy the fight a bit and you'll force yourself to get to the 60 days win.

Coming fresh off of Apocalypse 2, seeing that health down in the 50's had me real nervous. 🤣
Have you thought about using ramps instead of stairs and then a corner slope between the ramp and the house. Ramps should make your cabin in the woods more accessible for those zombies who are differently able.
I agree that specing into Pummel Pete and Sexy Rex is a great idea, but don't forget about Flurry of Blows and Pain Tolerance. Being able to swing rapidly while pushing through attacks will save your life when the hordes get serious, though you stand a good chance of dying before leveling up enough to get them all.

The baseball bat with the spikes and some red paint looks awesome..! And the compound crossbow with a scope is also really nice - as long as its not for horde night... Very nice if you have a point or 2 in animal tracker - although with horde every night, you may not have the time to go hunting if you need to gather supplies for the horde every day.
These slowmo sound clips are fantastic. Too bad about Apocalypse but I like House on the Hill and Cabin in the Woods better personally.

They really should fix the loot system. It is night 7 and you're over level 20 and are having to use a stone ax for harvesting when you should at least have an iron pickax by now.

Loving the series so far :D That's a solid base design, I may have to borrow it for my own world!
I use a technique to dig up treasures that I think is much more efficient and neat.
1- Dig a hole that's 4 blocks deep at the center of the treasure circle
2- Dig parallel to the ground at all 4 main directions on the compass (E, W, N, W) and dig straight into them 1 block wide at your face height into each direction
3- When it says the circle has shrunk, place wood frames to take a peek above the ground to see which direction it shrunk to.
4- Remove the frames to get back into the hole, and focus more on the general direction that the circle is shrinking to dig up.
5- Repeat 3 and 4.
Also, why do you hate cornmeal so much? Is it just cornmeal or all corn products in the game? It's pretty hilarious every time I see your reaction when you find it when you're looting 😂

A Stun Baton with the candy would work great with your setup. With the candy you can shock multiple zombies at once.

Finally opted in to alpha 19 and started Navazgan.
If you can find one of those new melee junk turrets, they'll make your horde night bottleneck even more effective. Place it perpendicular to the catwalk on the outer edge and it'll shove zombies onto the floor.
This is exactly what I needed this afternoon.

Also I'm pretty sure a splint will fix a sprained arm or leg. ;)

If you put a hatch on the outside of the door you will keep them from glitching over the top of the hatch and into your base as much.

hey glock, you should check out the knives and the perk for them. they have updated it and man, a level 5 bone knife does bleed effects on zombies, very minimal stamina and a great amount of damage. plus, very easy to repair! i love it.
