They switched the church (where Jen is now) with the burnt forest trader (the church is there now). There is another regular forest trader (Joel), but he has moved further West from his original location.

Fun fact, harvesting and something iron is actually even easier in real life then it is in video games. Its just that its difficult to find yourself having a life in which you have enough room on your property to have a forge without it just being a fire hazard. This is why many people would see what the zombies do to civilization as being liberated. As long as you keep in mind home done black smithing isn't all they would make easier to get to do.

@@ThatGuy-sw9ic If its why blacksmithing is easier in real life its because in video games iron either isn't renewable or you have to find more iron every time you need to repair a tool. In real life so long as you don't lose pieces no matter how many times iron gets dinted, rusted, scratched up or anything else, you can always melt the same iron and shape it back.

You want a house with a fire place. Which is easier, saving up for one for 30 years, or casually walking into one that no one lives in because the original owners were killed by zombies. Keys to the house.

hmm maybe think about makeing a basement to put your craft tables and storage, fairly soon it will get to the point here are to many for the stairs and they will start attacking randomly. i at least would still count it as living there.
I was just going to leave them on the main floor, but that’s a better idea, once the bunker has enough room I’ll start moving stuff down there.
When you're standing at the bars, remove the blocks behind you and replace them with half blocks. You'll have the room you need for dodging.

I’m just now starting to realize how much more I like the horde every night over the apocalypse series. A 👍🏻 is now automatic on my part. Keep up the great gameplay.

America in a nutshell
I feel that in this alpha the crucible has not been dropping until i start to find steel tier weapons. If you are having trouble finding it I would suggest buying enough steel from traders to make a couple of steel hatches.
I raided every Crack a Book, Working Stiffs and garage I had come across and didn't find the schematic till day 40 on my world. And ever since, crucibles have been dropping like flies in loot. Shame I can't share one with Capp.
@@irish3183 Yeah this has pretty much been my experience so when I want steel tier thing sin the first week or two I usually have to buy the steel because that crucible never shows up early.

Trust me, its more enjoyable to watch rather than play.
But dont get me wrong it is a fun game. But playing it by yourself all the time can get boring... hence why Gloxk makes all these challenges and makes them perma death.
The game has seriously improved, it's amazing now comparatively.
Give it a shot. None of my friends want to play on my server with me so iplay alone mostly, but A19 is awesome so far imo

The AK is better than the M60 unless you invest in penetration. On a horde night, with the zombies lined up in front of you, you can get double or triple damage for each bullet.

Maybe you should just put iron bars on a roof panel
In every way I can think to test, I see no real change in loot w/wout the candy. From what I can tell in the config files, all it does is add 5 to game stage in regards to loot, which is negligible in most cases.
Entertaining as always, thanks Glock! A19 gamestage 90+, Warrior, default loot, and still haven't found a crucible or crucible schematic in loot, rewards, or traders' inventory.

Glock, if you have a Sledge Turret place it over the hatch at the entrance to your base. Place it when the hatch is closed to trick the game to put it as forward as possible, so it won't hit the hatch when it activated. Also put an Auto Fire mod in it to speed up it's activation speed.
One time I placed it where a zombie was cornered in a one square space and the Sledge wouldn't allow him to get up. It just kept smashing him into the corner until dead.
Time to rename the series from "Cabin in the woods" to "Castle in the woods"
...and soon to be Tower in the woods.

He, Glock. You could do a survival challenge where you have to build everything from scratch. Build your home from scratch, build the horde bases from scratch, and build every tool and weapon from scratch. Just an idea! Love the videos! I also just got my "F#ck Off Cornmeal" Shirt! I love it.

Glock, you should try Days Gone or Mist Survival. If you want massive hordes to fight. Days Gone is the best option. If you want to play 7 Days to Die but with a mist element then Mist Survival is the good one

Thought for the backing up problem, replace the two blocks behind you with plates, will look exactly the same from the outside, but give you and extra 3/4 of a block space behind.
Good luck finding a crucible. On A19 we usually find a crucible after day 50. You can try spending some points on 'better barter' and 'lucky looter'

Hey clock ! Just for probably a fun video (scary) or somekind of challenge to the future, try putting zombie speeds to insane, and when you see wondering horde the excitment and fear steps a hole new level.. i love this game and your content, keep videos coming 👌👍
You keep getting hit at the bars, so replace the blocks behind you with either 1/2 blocks or inverted gable blocks. The inverted gable's won't catch your movement if you need to head up your path suddenly.
“Look at this fucking guy. Get outta the road dammit. Roads were built for driving not standing.” 5 seconds later drives on the grass completely blowing through a stop sign lol!!
I’m not going to read the 400 comments but: 1. You can craft cans iirc. I’m playing RH mod right now but I believe you can in vanilla. 2. Put a point in daring adventurer. It is well worth it.
Two pieces of advice:
1:
Move the boxes away from the pit where the zombies fall down, so that they don't destroy them if they go into destroy everything mode...like if you dig a pit for them to fall down into, but are able to climb out of easily if they are not in destroy everything mode.
2:
Make a powered hatch, so that you can lower it from behind the steel bars, rather then waiting for it to fail completely, and then having to rebuild it the next night.
I'm guessing that's far less resource heavy anyway.
Enjoy your clips and learnt a lot, but man, I’m a little tired of that horde base. Having said that, my only horde base is a modified Fates Hotel. Day 301 nomad solo.
