Foods That Should Never Be Reheated Again and Again
Many people today prepare food for two or three days and keep it in the fridge. The usual habit is to heat the food until it is finished. Reheating the food can cause cancer. Similarly, reheating oil once heated in most homes and shops is harmful to the body. Some foods should not be reheated. Let's take a look at foods that should not be reheat
1.Chicken
Never reheat chicken after 2 or 3 days in the fridge. Repeated heating breaks down the protein compounds, causing more problems for the stomach. Digestion will be disturbed. The more it is heated, the more the difference will be in taste and quality.
2. Potatoes
Most people cook potatoes hot. Every house has potato dishes every day. Keeping potatoes in the fridge and then heating them up will do a lot of harm to the body. Starch is the advantage of potatoes. The body needs plenty of starch. Heating can cause the growth of a rare bacteria called botulism. Heating in the microwave will kill the bacteria. But there may be food poisoning.
3. Spinach
Spinach is one of the most loved by Malayalees. Spinach is characterized by storage of nitrates. They become carcinogenic when heated. Once heated, remove from heat and eat. Temperatures below 5°C are required to maintain nitrite presence.
4. Oil
If the oil is left, then there is nothing else to think about. Today, most of the people heat the oil and use it until it runs out. They fry the fish in the remaining oil from the burnt pappadam, prepare the puri and fry the pappadam in the remaining oil. This is what most people do.
If the oil is heated over and over again, the toxic fumes from it can even cause problems for the lungs.
5. Beetroot
Never reheat beet root. Because beetroot is a nitrate donor like spinach. Same ill effects as repeated heating of spinach. Also, there will be abdominal pain.
6. Rice
Experts say that even if the rice is heated in the oven, it is not as harmful as it is heated in the microwave. Once back to normal temperature
Bacteria will multiply. Boil it in water instead of heating it. Be careful not to overextend.
7. The egg
Eggs should only be heated once because the first heating will reduce the protein content. Overcooking will also not help.
