Tiger Leaping Gorge

A brief video of the awesome Changjiang River, at Tiger Leaping Gorge. One of the deepest gorges in the world, it gets its name from a local legend of a tiger that escaped from a hunter by leaping across the river with the assistance of a large stone in the middle. The power of the water was impressive!

That is the meanest stretch of whitewater I have ever seen. V-drive on the Stikine in Canada couldn't hold a candle to that.
