SAME SISTER SAME. That line u said " I just wanted to crack neet, n never thought about mbbs" SAME. Infact for me it was 4 months before neet 2021 I realised, no Becoming a doctor is definitely not my thing. And trust me it had me through so many emotions, like "sneha are u serious? U literally dropped 2 whole years n now you be like I don't want to do this?, Or questions like what would i tell my parents? How would other people look at me? And the most important question if not this, then what? I literally didn't gave any answer. There were nights I used to cry, get all irritated, look at my schedules, notes, books, flashcards n everything I prepared and regret !!! Are all this gonna go waste? ... after a lot of research considering pros n cons I chose Biotechnology. I appeared neet 2021 , just because I spared so much time on it . Definitely my parents were dissapointed ( they ll Make peace soon,lol). They expected me for 600+ n i ended up with 523. I do not at all regret for Neet. I literally don't. I don't even give a shit about it other than the time when I see my frns getting into good med cllgs, or bigger cllgs unlike mine 😂 or when I hear someone near cracking neet or my parents tell me such news,. I feel bad at times not because I couldn't do mbbs but because, ... when would I get into smthing big?? At times I feel low , I think to myself ...when would I figure it all out? My career..the purpose n all? Anyway Its been such a roller coaster ride and things haven't settled yet, but anyway things would unfold slowly as they always do. And also, if u are reading this n u are confused..honey belive in timings. Evrything happens in time. Its never too late.
@@rupalisingh5929 Biotech is good. Its interesting. But if u want good job, that is especially in IT sectors, u ll hv to do msc. IT because, pure biotech jobs pay very lil. Tho now I switched to agriculture, during msc I might specialize in Biotech.

You're me but you choose the right path. I am currently having a career crisis! Wanted to teach ENGLISH and join Ravenshaw but did IT as drawn by monetary reasons! now it's a dream i cherish which never happened.
Guys do what you like to do, don't do it because someone said it is better than other careers. Even if you are already in one career but you don't like it and want to change to another career option, then do it. People here are changing their career from IITian to UPSC, IIM to UPSC, MBBS to UPSC, some are resigning from IAS, IPS posts, some are going abroad, some coming to India from abroad and many others. So do what you love to do, don't care about others and never compare yourself with others.

I got transferred in class 11th, started being utterly dissapointed with myself (cuz I was once a bright student but after the transfer I just couldn't concentrate), I had joined some tuition for pcm but always hated to go there, stopped going to school frequently. I became so sad that I couldn't even think about my goals anymore, in class 12th, covid came and I didn't have to go to school, so I somewhat coped up. And now when I see ur story it gives me feeling of me not being alone in that struggle. That's a wonderful step taken by u to choose a path that u love. All the best for ur future!!

Hritika you and I have the sammmmeeeeeeee story mannn! I was a bright student in 10th then took PCBM and failed in every subject except English, chemistry(passd on margin) and physical education. Somehow 11th pass kar li and 12th m phch gai then studied sooooo frnknn hard and got around 76% and did'nt got any cllg for bsc. 12th tk to kuch b ni socha tha k kya karna h. After boards I took a drop year and enrolled myself in a very reputed neet coaching(obviously did'nt have anyother option except taking a drop) studied so harrrddddd but basics were not cleared did'nt have self confidence and failed miserably in neet 2020. I had that thing ki "apna 10th class waala confidence wps laana hai" so i left neet and took admission in sociology in a very good collg (through EWS quota) and I was sooo happy that finally I will go to the collg now then one evening I got a mail from collg that my admission is rejected coz I had a mistake in my form. I broke down and cried soo much!! Maine kisi aor collg k form fill ni kiya tha coz i was so sure that I will get admission in sociology in this collg. I was so depressed mere saare frnds kuch na kuch kr rahe the but m wahi thi jaha m ek saal phle thi. After thinking too much I took admission in yakeen batch and got interested in studies but chemistry was messed up. Did'nt have proper strategy did'nt gave mocks and again failed in neet2021. Ab maine dubaara drop liya hai and i will give my 110% bcoz MUJHE APNE AAP KO PROOVE KRNA HAI! thankyou for studing my commnt

I want to tell you the same happened with me. I took non med and started prep for jee. I took coaching in sikar city but the faculty wasn't good. I got homesick and came back home. Got off track. Thought to study well in 12th but the covid thing happened.and then i thought i just wanted to do jee for the prestige of iit but not for myself. Now m happy I will be doing BA as i got interest in it. 😊
I seriously believe that if there is something out there that you really want to do , you should do it no matter what cause this life is damn short to not follow our dreams . Go girl!!!!! Kudos to you !!!👏🙌👍👌

Wanted to study agriculture, ended up with engineering. I'm a graduate now but till to this day i regret not prioritizing my choice. Don't go for something because of everyone's pressure. Choose something that you love, you have to live with it for the rest of your life.
