I love how you explain it. You are teaching it right. This is exactly how i saw the abuse that i went through. Thank you for stepping up and telling it like it is. You do have to remember that they are insatiable and will get bored with you and have to have other sources of supply to fill their void and their fantasy. They are telling you that you are amazing and the "one and only" but they are telling other people this too. I think as they get older they become more desperate and delusional and more blatant because they are in a constant state of panic.

you should feel lucky. imagine dealing with 48 yrs of this. its enough to drive a saint absolutely crazy. my advice is to not become too jaded. still let people in, just be very vigilant and cast out people who exhibit these behaviors. otherwise they win. I'm convinced these people were born evil, not their upbringing, as people suggest. some people are just bad seeds imo

It's true that narcissists have no empathy, but they DO KNOW that their cheating will hurt their spouse. And they take pleasure in that knowing. My ex-husband cheated the whole time we were married (12 years) and was very good at never getting caught. I'd suspect and question and he'd always deny. It wasn't until I left him for good and he knew the game was completely over with me, that he decided to "confess" all the times he cheated. He gloated in it, and had the attitude of "oh yeah, take that." "Remember when you asked me and I said no? Well you were right...I was out f**king someone". He really thought he would get one last big hurt in, but by this time I had zero feelings left for him except disgust. Took the wind out of his sails. Then blocked, went completely no contact, got a restraining order, and filed for divorce.😂
Married to one. I can check every single box that shes a full blown narc. Only one box I haven't been able to check....cheating...although she projects it onto me constantly....always being accused or shes suspicious of me at all times. She gets home from work and is on her phone and the internet all night long in the bedroom. All night every night. I have my suspicions for sure. Trying to figure out how to catch her.
Hey Dayle! I do know from personal experience with a narcissist that it is highly likely that a narcissist will cheat especially when they are on their phones all the time messaging other people. I know it’s unfortunate to hear but your suspicions might be right. Since you are married, you both should have full transparency with each other on who you message, etc. You definitely deserve to know that information. If she doesn’t provide that transparency and chooses to withhold that info then that’s a possible indicator for cheating. Anyways, best of luck to you.
Caught my narc gf cheated on me about 3 weeks ago. I had a gut feeling for months and red flags were everywhere. Then one day she rushed out to meet her new supply and i opened her laptop while she was out. She left her fb logged on which is unusual for her. Got hold of the whole conversation with her new supply (pictures, dirty talk and even discussion of thier last sex session) and confronted her, she tried to lie of course. I’ve moved out since and current trying to establish a new life. Im still trying to work out whether the last 7 years together was just a lie. Regardless im glad I’ve moving on now.
Everything should be in her messengers. Most of them do little covering up because they are above such boring technical details and believe you are too stupid to follow up anyway
Wow! After I was triangulated and lied to for two years when my husband had an affair with our neighbour whilst I was pregnant he left as the baby was just one month old. I have been worrying so much about their relationship, are they a better fit (they do share the same hobbies) and going over and over.. will it last? Will they be happy?? She’s on husband number 4 and now my husband left me because I gave an ultimatum. He’s probably waiting for her to get rid of her 4th husband before he moves in with her. Something similar happened with these two fools 13 years ago. He’s obsessed with her, I want her to teach him a lesson for walking out me and the kids 😔
