- Finally. After grinding for 5+ hours every day for a week, I finally got a run where I didn't die to random nonsense and where everything worked out in my favor. This game is so brutal. I lost SO MANY GREAT RUNS in the most heartbreaking ways you can imagine.
I got an unexpected 23:52 (one second behind the WR) relatively quickly (after about 2 weeks of doing full runs), and after that it was SO HARD to get another PB. I even lost two WR pace runs because I mistimed the Eye of Innos trick in Irdorath, which is very hard to do under pressure.

Also, this was played on 45 fps, which loses at least 20 seconds compared to 48 fps, because the catapults take a lot longer. I decided to play on 45 fps anyway, because it makes catapults slightly more reliable (the lower the fps, the less precisely you have to count). With how much randomness there is in the run already, this seems like a good trade-off. For now. At some point, 45 fps won't be able to keep up with 48 fps anymore. - เกม

Fettes GG an dich Jaffra, hast du dir regelrecht nach den wochenlangen grinds verdient! Da ist wirklich noch viel rauszuholen, vorallen diese strats die du benutzt. Aber diese Zeit ist schon ne fette ansage

Awesome run, congratulations! What is this wolf trick? I'm pretty sure I see it first time.
Its a newly discovered glitch, called a "hover". If you make an attack from standstill and hold backwards during the lunge, you'll bug the frameorder. The wolf will keep doing a "backwards parade" instead of being in the state of falling as long as you hold backwards. You can combine it with holding A+D in order to steer midair (they also take priority over falling).
There are even more spots where its viable to do the hover :)
