Example, they can do Freaky: Halloween and this time, have it take place at a campground and the killer can be more like Jason Voorhees. haha
Cristopher Landon is pretty good with this kinda stuff. Happy Death Day was "Groundhog Day meets Scream" too. (Fun fact, he was a producer in another horror comedy "My Best Friend's Exorcism", which was based on a book described as "Beaches meets The Exorcist" by its author lol). I hear he's gonna direct Scream 7 and an Aracnophobia remake which is great but I hope he makes more movies with these kind of creative ideas.
This is a crazy funny horror comedy body switching movie I've ever seen! The way Vince Vaughn portrays a teenager is hilarious! You can't but laugh in how good he does it.
I feel like there is some hidden lore here with Mrs. Movies. Like she was a mascot until that tragic day happened and she put away the Beaver costume for good. One day there will be a trial so great, that she will don the suit once more and fight for justice.

Even the scene when he's walking on the bleachers and jumps down in front of the girl is straight from H2O when Myers is chasing Laurie Strode/Kerri Tate and she hides under a table. Then suddenly, the camera pans up to see Myers on top of the table. He Knows she's under there. He knew it all along. And he jumps down right in front of her after walking on the tables as she scrambles to get away. This, in addition to the two masks, head tilt, the knife as the weapon of choice, the hyper strength, creative kills, escape from a mental institution, etc. are purposeful Myers mirroring. It was cool to see. They blow it by having him talk. That could've been a great tell for the audience to know who was which character and when. You know, chatty teen girl vs silent psychotic killer. Really enjoyable reaction though. Maybe I'll check it out sometime

This movie is kinda great. Scream totally got me hooked on selfaware/comedy horror, and I binged pretty much all the movies in the genre that have been released in the past 25 years or so.

I recommend you two watch Atlanta S1-S3 if you two interest with the show. By the way, Freaky (2020) is like inspired by The Ferryman (2007) where it involved a dagger that can transfer someone's soul to someone's body when a psycho stab someone. But in the movie, the evil soul is hunted by The Ferryman.

And originally freddy vs jason was going to be michael myers and jason but there was a rights issue at the time. But thats why Freaky has alot of references to michael myers.

Slasher horror isn't my thing, but I got through the opening scene...and a little bit after that I stoppped. But, watching a cliff notes/MST3K version of this movie was perfect. *Also, have you two seen that Vince Vaughn movie, "Brawl In Cell Block 99"? I swear, it's like nobody has ever heard of this movie, but it's so good & it's the exact opposite type of role/character you would expect to see Vince Vaughn portray.* Great Reactions, BTW!
The movie was directed by Christopher Landon who directed the 'Happy Death Day' movies, this movie has a similar feel to those. I liked this one a little more than those but this was still just ok. Before the switch a lot of people are mean to Millie so we already know who shes going to kill. Vince Vaughn was great after the switch, he's hilarious. Outside of that, and a few cool kills, not much to say about this movie. I might watch it again, if there's nothing else to do. 6/10
Happy Death Day next! Made by the same director, supposedly in the same "cinematic universe", with a very similar "taking an older movie and doing it with a horror spin." I like it a lot more than Freaky.
