  • Peter Aldington has designed more listed buildings than any other living architect. 'I believe that every young architect should build their own house or have the opportunity to do so.'
    Having done just that and lived in it since the mid-1960s, Aldington is convinced that it has inspired the designs he has created.
    Shot by photographers and filmmakers Alun Bull and James O Davies was shown at our exhibition 'Brutal and Beautiful' at the Quadriga Gallery, Wellington Arch, London, in October 2013.

    Such a beautiful project. I'm wondering if Peter Aldington ever designed something similar in Portugal Vilamoura. There are some houses form the seventies, that speak the same language. If anybody is interested there is a video from ‘Architects at Home: Gary Collins’ from 2020 who now lives in ‘Middle Turn’
