  • Chichester is an ancient town, going back to Roman times when they built the six and a half feet walls around it and the roads to London and Silchester. The Anglo-Saxons were here and the Normans.
I explore the heart of Chichester, the market cross, parks , museum and cathedral.

I am from the States but worked extensively in Chichester at St Richard’s hospital. The people are lovely and the ability to live there without needing a car is great. Chichester is one of my favourite cities. I miss it dearly and hope to come back.

Thanks for watching and commenting. Chichester is a lovely place, and the surrounding area is beautiful. I have been making more and more videos in this area because of the history and beauty. This is one of my favourite places for Christmas shopping

The 'Victorian' buildings on the left, by the East Walls, is actually the now converted, Shippams factory.
Where they used to make Shippams meat pastes and Chicken Supreme.

Thank you. Did I hear that the shipman’s building is haunted? Or is that a different building?

It is not a swastika, it is a symbol of luck and well being.

It’s subjective. To modern eyes it would be described as a swastika. In eastern countries it was used as you have described. In this use by the romans it is a visual representation of the seasons as recorded by the big dipper rotating around Polaris. Watch this Britain's best preserved Mosaics- Bignor Roman villa, Sussex

Geezer needs to speak with a bit more passion. He sounds so flat and irritatingly dull.
