    Great vid Bob, lovely to see you all checking out the sights of Chichester, especially the cathedral and the gardens.
    I work as a volunteer at the Novium Museum in Chichester and I was working on the day you both visited. I happened to spot you both passing by, but wasn't sure whether to come up to you and say hi.
    Me and my Dad both enjoy watching your videos, we love seeing Poppy running out in front on her lead 😊

    Just thought for the merch t shirts you could put 'see you soon', on the front and as you said earlier 'bye then' on the back.

    • @BobEarnshawMoHo
      @BobEarnshawMoHo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good one, did wonder what we could put on the front.

    • @carol_campervanner
      @carol_campervanner 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Or 'We're leaving' on the front and 'bye then' on the back. At beginning of a lot of your videos you say 'We're leaving' so and so camp site.

    Bird Man of Bognor was an annual competition and you are right people used to make many contraptions in order to fly. I think the target was 100m to win a cash prize.

    Just a quick question.
    Do the Peregrine Falcons taste similar to the protected Wedge Tail Eagles here in Australia? 😇

    • @BobEarnshawMoHo
      @BobEarnshawMoHo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I didn't know, but, "Within the UK Peregrine falcons are strictly protected under Schedule 1 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 and The Nature Conservation (Scotland) Act 2004. They are also included on the Amber List of UK birds of conservation concern."

      I was being facetious.
      The peregrine falcon is an amazing bird.
      The wedge tail eagle is also amazing, with a wingspan of up to 9 feet and is known to take, small dogs, cats and the occasional baby. Dog and cat owners are very cautious in open areas.

    Lovely vlog, shame about the frustrating time with the parking. Restricting well behaved dogs will stop lots of people from visiting places and the parking problems.

      @@BobEarnshawMoHo haha, thank you kind sir. learning english though, for me at least, was a huge pleasure and brought me so much fun i eventually fell in love with it entirely and it has since affected my life in ways i couldnt have even imagined as a kid. if it wasnt for other difficulties, i would likely have landed a job at some translating company abroad or at home. :)

    We have problems with the car park in Shaftesbury, if you have no cash or the machine is not working you are supposed to use your phone!! OK if I'm with my husband, my husband does not have a mobile phone!! It doesn't to a lot for the tourist trade!! Sigh!

    There is a building in Salisbury similar to the one in Chichester and that is called the Poultry Cross! Does that help?

    The dreaded parking apps. We have wasted a lot of time with them. I don’t think we have ever been to either of these places. Isn’t it striking how busy the traffic is in the little towns now. Another nice daytrip, we like walking the canals. Not sure if you have been to CCC site at Devizes but certainly recommend it as it’s not too far to the long stack of locks and there’s a nice little cafe half way up with car parking. 😃🚐 Trev

      We've been to Devizes a couple of times now. Nice site, there's the pub round the corner too.
