@ungertron sure people should have the dogs they want but it's better to adopt, also people breed dogs to get them to look a certain way but what people don't realize is that this causes major health issues to the dogs :/

I am a single parent. I'm 45 and my daughter is 9.She and I just wanted this together and we both agreed that this is the sweetest thing we have ever seen. I have had dogs my whole life and I don't use the word sweet lightly. I also served 3 years in the military and as such I consider myself a macho man but these doggies are so cute they have melted my stoic persona. I feel a kinship with this Papa bully. of course that puppy is adorable but Dad's face, it's somewhere between Winston Churchill and John Cleese but somehow adorable as well. from an allegorical perspective the relationship between this K9 parent and his daughter represents fathers and daughters all over the globe. My daughter and I are in complete agreement on this video unfortunately the same cannot be said about cleaning her room.

Those of you that say breeders suck - not all breeders are bad and remember that it isn't fair for every dog owner to have to take in a shelter/rescue dog someone else has already owned and impacted. Yes it is wonderful to save a dog's life and give it a second chance but often times people have a specific breed in mind and they want it as a puppy so that it is truly THEIR dog. There is nothing wrong with that. They are not being irresponsible.
So you're fine with people breeding dogs for the sole purpose of making money and pleasing selfish people who want 'pretty' puppies, while thousands of healthy, innocent dogs are put down in shelters every day? Dogs who were probably once a gift from the pet store, but were abandoned when they were no longer wanted? Dogs who didn't even ask to be brought into this world? Wow. The cruelty of humanity never ceases to surprise me. And seriously... a dog owner shouldn't have to take in a rescue? Excuse me, but it's because of these stupid dog breeders and people who buy their pets that there are animals being tossed into the shelters like pieces of trash in the first place. If pet shops didn't exist, there wouldn't be much need for dog shelters. It is our responsibility to take care of these animals, and give them the life they deserve. Just remember- every time you buy a dog from the pet store, another ends up being murdered because no one came to give them a home, and you ensure the cruelty of puppy mills will continue whilst female dogs' reproductive organs are used like machines as they are forced to go through pregnancy after pregnancy in filthy and unimaginable conditions. It's because of people like you why this suffering exists in the first place. I hope you're proud of yourself!!!!
Acacia Gray Responsible breeders take orders for puppies and don't allow their dogs to breed until they have owners lined up already, some waiting years for a puppy. Yes, I am all for shelters, but I don't think it is wrong to get a dog from a responsible breeder.
Acacia Whoa, how about you blame the people who buy dogs, and proceed to toss them in shelters, as opposed to the shelters themselves. People who buy from breeders, usually keep those dogs for life. Do I hate the fact that shelters exist? Yes. But I don't blame the shelters, I blame the people who make shelters neccessary. You also need to take into account that a lot of people have kids and would like to get a puppy, so that the puppy will grow up with the child and have that bond. It isn't always about having pretty dogs, sometimes it is just varying reasons.
