Our English Bulldog we rescued was 5lbs over weight. He hated baby carrots but like a baby, we kept offering them and he had no choice and now loves them. Cut back food and upped the walk carrots for treats. Worked like a charm if you can handle the tantrums too! Lok

Green beans are the answer! A whole can has about 30 calories and they fill up the bowl. I trick my Great Pyrenees this way and he lost 10 lbs. He was a sulker as well, and the Peanut Butter King! ;-)
