    As an INTP my favorite matches are INFJ, ENTJ, ENTP, ISTP. INFJ are amazing but they are damn picky as they often have an idealized vision of their partner imagined in their head.

    some guy on the internet thinks I’m an ISTP and it annoys me. I identify much more with this description.. when I fall in Love it’s like my rationality falls by the wayside and I become a stupid emotional mess and I hate it.

      My Art Page I’m an INFJ with an INTP boyfriend and it’s purrrrfect....I just wish he took charge more! It sometimes makes me think he doesn’t like me and I’m uncomfortable taking charge but I’ve had to more than usual. We just have to communicate about it- he has made efforts to be more assertive and so have I. Our relationship is so sweet!
      In sum...FIND an INFJ! It’s called the ‘golden pair’

    • @ineffablemars
      @ineffablemars 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Gwendy S I have heard this before. My last boyfriend was an INTJ and we were together for a long time. His qualms with me were similar. He saw me as indecisive and a bit fickle but I really am not, I just am not the kind of person to take charge. I tend to go with the flow unless I really disagree with something. My qualms with him were his stubbornness and arrogance. Which is like stereotypical INTJ 😂 I think I like the Ni just not the Te and Fi. So you’re probably right!!! Where are all the INFJs?

    • @gwendys3332
      @gwendys3332 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My Art Page Stubbornness and arrogance...an INTJ?? Nooooooo!!!!! (Death Vader voice). Haha my last relationship was with one and that’s what killed it.
      Honestly i work with the military teaching MBTI since the us army adopted it...I’m dead serious I live outside of FT Bragg and my (serious) boyfriend of a year is INTP- I know my types.
      As NF’s, we (not just my specific type) gravitate -or they gravitate towards us- toward the NTs. Honestly we are each other’s perfect mate...and NO ONE is better than the golden pair because my type only looks out for the best in their INTP and always, always seeks to build up and not destroy. Plus, INTPs are simply the most adorable type of MBTI honestly.
      My boyfriend, instead of bringing me flowers like a usual dude (I don’t want a usual dude!) valiantly set down on a path to make me a first true or mostly true LIGHTSABER and name it after me....can you think of ANYTHING more romantic?! (Im a Star Wars fan) - also, it’s not as crazy as it sounds he’s the Principle Engineer for his company which creates lasers for the military. (I’m closing in on 40)
      As far as where to find the INFJ...(sad face)...we are only 1% of the population. We do a decent job of camouflaging in with the ‘normies’ in order to create time for ourselves and our individualistic pursuits that makes us hard to find.
      Try to find us in coffee shops or Barnes and Noble- look in the Sci Fi and Fantasy section. Mostly, go online. Twitter support groups, personality.com or something has a forum where we sometimes can find love...we are VERY picky but so is the INTP....when my boyfriend and I met, it was INSTANT, we hadn’t even sat down yet or said a word and we both later told each other we knew we had met the love of our lives.
      An INTP female?! Our lonely and sensitive INFJ males are often left behind- advertise yourself and you’ll be snapped up PRONTO!
      Good luck! :-). I know it’s tough for INTP females as they are often ‘coded’ wrong. But so are our INFJ males! My INTP sister -20 years old, has similar issues as is looking specifically in the NF subset. I get along with INTPs of my same sexy too I just find them so goofy and awesome...my sister and I are best friends and honestly our types should stick together...nobody spells misfit like our types lol

    My ideal relationship is to buy a duplex, two houses on a lot, or two adjacent condo units; I live in one and he lives in the other. We don’t argue about how to decorate and have our own space to relax. He comes over to eat my cooking. I go over to watch TV with him. We are separately together. Hasn’t happened yet because no guy liked this idea and I had no issue cutting off ties when things didn’t look promising (I recovered from broken relationships on my own, sometimes took a few years).

    INTPs are good at money management because tertiary si and think before they act. ENTPs are bad with money. in fact the how well some one handles money is a good sort out who is ENTPs and who is a INTP.

      Not always the case. Studied both extensively for this very reason. Sorting all information down to its remaining truth to better myself and world/self view. As a "lazy" intp I will openly admit I suck at money management. Because yes I don't care. That is until it's to late and I realize the error in the way it impacts an outcome or situation. Mainly a social or living one. This isn't to say I didn't care but honestly at the time I didn't. Poor impulse control, creature of habit often found with head in clouds or up ass. We're all a different blend of specimin in this quantum thinking, acting ocean.

      Problem is, I simply don't care about money and I have no plan for the next 40 years of my life. Also, I always have the feeling that if I needed more money, I could get it if I just focused on doing so. I'm aware of this and the importance of financial planning. On the other hand, I have switched occupations often, which makes long term planning more difficult. I really would benefit from a partner that forces me to do more about finances. I'm not in any debt, but I also don't build passive income or wealth.

      I think it depends on how you grew up. I personally am very good at money management. Like you could give me a dollar to live with for a day and i still will manage to safe a quarter.
      I learned that from my grandmother who migrated and lives a simple life as a farmer and housewife.
      As a kid, we were kind of poor ( for someone wo lives in the first world )
      I'm minimalistic. ^^ i don't need to spend money.

    I think ESFJ would be the best match in my opinion. INTP is next, and then ENTP and ISFJ after those. I need most help with my Fe and ESFJ is great with Emotional Intelligence so support and I support the Ti side. INTP/ENTP/ESFJ/ISFJ are basically one category. xNTP is the thinking side and xSFJ is the feeling side. My sister and my mom and some of my good friends are ESFJ and so I seek similar aspects

      Yeh I am INTP and I clash with ESFJ's every time. Too sensitive and their ideas and values are simple and rigid. Their Fe dominant with Si parent make them boring as well. They love small talk about other people or gossip which I simply can't stand. I like INFJ my only chick friend is this type and we've been friends for 18 yrs. ENFP and INFP also sound like cool people to me but I don't go out much so I'll probably never know. I think I like N's maybe because I am 86% Ne myself.

      (Super old comment I know)
      I'm an INTP and my first gf was an ESFJ
      It was a hell of a ride. We stayed together for about a year and split not because we were incompatible, but because we were young (I was 17 then) and life was taking us different ways. I learned sooo much from that though, and I think she did too.
      It feels like these two should just ignore each other, but when you look at the stacks they are just flipped. Meaning that we were strong where the other was weak. But we were also both very mature for our age and respected where we knew the other's boundaries were. Instead of tearing each other down, we showed one another how to bolster our areas of weakness and that's where the synergy lies.
      If we had met later in life when both of us had things settled, I wouldn't have been surprised if we committed to each other.
      But that's my experience :)

    • @fleetingfootnotes9133

      As an INTP I think there's a lot of potential... an ENFJ's Fe might allow an INTP to open up a bit more. Step a bit further into the human world. Not every INTP will be willing to do that, though. For those who do ENFJ's might be one of the best possible matches.

      (intp) yo i actually have an enfj childhood homie. from my pov, enfj can be quite irrational? he always see the good thing in every problems and issues. its kinda annoying lol, the amount of his optimism bothers me. for him, harmony is the most important thing. we had some debates in the past and most of his arguments were depending on it. i adore his ambition tho, since his Ni is very developed. he's quite smart, academically. he also is very strict with his routines, its totally admirable. he basically is a busy person and i am a ceo of wasting time. we're very different but somehow complete each other. some people dont recommend intp enfj friendship but it depends on the person ig. this is my opinion based on my friendship experiences only and i dont wanna generalize enfjs. im taking abt my weird homie here but i hope u can get my point.
