I purchased my 2015 Land Rover Range Rover Supercharged new in 2015. Aside from a leaking AC line repaired under warranty, it’s been a great vehicle. Still own it in 2023, and am very pleased with the ownership experience.
Wonderful. I just purchased a 2015 Range Rover SC Autobiography last night online. 40,000 miles. Excited to received, its my 1st one. I plan on keeping it too.
Great review! I really like the transitions between the old and new and how you explained that this SUV was moving forward by taking cues from the past. The "gypsy" music was pretty cool too.
best review of this car, and one of the best of any car. not too long but to the point and packed with information you dont usually get in other reviews like the speakers! keep it up, please bring more
That was an unbelieveable test/review of the new Range! Awesome job Mike. I watched the Motor Trend review a few minutes ago and scrolled to the Car and driver one and almost passed it by.... I'm glad i didnt. I learned WAYYYYY more info from you guys at Car and Driver. Thank you!
This will be my next truck, very well done! Love the 50% less button thing, the sanitary appeal to this vehicle is very similar to newer Rolls Royce. Very impressed!
I never thought that a range rover can be improved in any way. And while i still think that, this new model is actually nice. I for one wouldn't buy any other car in the world, if only i had the money. but at 83.000 euros, a bit over my budget. Great car, great review, keep them up.
Woww, this was a really good (albeit short) review that is so unlike the asinine reviews usually found on here involving the over priced sports cars that the editors seem to hawk upon so often even though they are so far out of the price range of the majority of people to afford...Not a Rover kind of person, but this one is definitely a step above, and beyond any of their past offerings...
Every car manufacturer is upping their game. Everybody knows how to build a car now a days. I'm a mechanic that specializes in German cars and let me tell you, I drove a 2012 Kia forte and I like it as much as any comparable toyota or Honda. I have no problem buying a Kia like I did in the past. That's why I will give landrover the benefit of the doubt and expect their new line up to be more reliable. Ill still choose a Benz (gl or ml) though.
Man I've driven Range Rovers obsessed over the possibility of a two door full body Range and the whole 9. But they've just never really impressed me. I live in LA so they're as common as an F-150 in Michigan (which is where I'm from) and I have to say I'm going to purchase a 2013 Range Rover and it's solely due to this review. Great job I would have never been interested enough to find out about all thee improvements. It's just better all around. 15 different interior options? That's fly.
Finally I found a review! Which is also pretty nice, i get all the information I want. I know, it's sad but true, I can't afford to buy such a car, but thanks for giving me the car-feeling :)
Ferrari and Lotus have been gluing vehicles together for some time now, modern industrial adhesives are very impressive, as they stated it uses less energy. But probably the better reason is there is less distortion and stress point creation over regular welding processes. Thus you end up with a stronger overall shell especially when dealing with aluminium.
1:31 caught my ear. They covered something up with "fourth" generation. 2013 Land Rover Range Rover Autobiography - First Drive Review - CAR and DRIVER
Lol. I never liked range rovers, and finally for the first time I sat in one at the car show and I was very impressed. I finally see why someone would buy one. I sat in the autobiography edition and it is beyond luxury. Too bad it was over 130k.
Great SUV - Great video! Good job Mike! But wow, over $100,000.00! When the automobile starts to cost as much a house, then one might, just might take pause...still I would love to own one, in red! Thanks again MIke for another good review...
Im not a fan of range rover at all but im gonna ask you the question do you ever fly? Planes are glued together with a system called structural bonding. Polaris builds all their snowmobiles with it, and i believe can am is using it in some quads. Its actually stronger then welding as a weld uses heat which tempers the metals. Better learn to like it as most cars will use it soon enough
i preferred the last generation. In the words of jeremy clarkson the new RR is a car for today but the previous generation is a car for forever. The new styling doesn't offer quite the same appeal as the last generations did.
Inbuild school buses and we have been glueing them together for years now. It is about three times stronger than a weld. We do pull test multiple times a day.
Well if you want to find negatives go to some off road forums for Landrover and you will properly find a lot of not so positive arguments. The aluminium build will be one you will hear. IMO i´m not so found of this all digital instrumentation - but this is only in regard to hardcore off roading journeys. This RR is now in the luxury league and will do very well there. Hardcore LR fans will have to keep older models alive for long time now.
ever noticed that only GM-cars come with that option? the functionality behind ¨remote start up¨ is that you can start your car up in the winter and its already heating without you having to go sit in first. european cars have that option too with the difference that you're not starting the whole engine but only the cars heating circulation. so its much more economic. its not primary made for just being able to start the car while you standing next to it. amazing how all americans think that. ;)
will you be even able to sell this thing let's say by year 2020 i say this because by that time people will relay more on hybrid cars and diesels i guess.. probably cars like the tesla will be the new range rober for some
This should be the car of the year. It's perfectly all-rounder

Wow, the Range Rover made an autobiography ?! What an intelligent vehicle! I wouldn't think it could tell anyone anything!
That's the best commercial for Range Rover, or any SUV, I've ever seen.
That is one of the best reviews I've seen in quite a while! Good stuff.
By far the best range rover review I've seen so far. Focused om exactly the right points In a very objective manner. Just spot on
Great review! I really like the transitions between the old and new and how you explained that this SUV was moving forward by taking cues from the past. The "gypsy" music was pretty cool too.

Great review. Loads of info I wasn’t ever aware of- rivets, glued body panels and air intakes.
Nice one.
Great video, it was a very nice blend of a technical review and a opinion piece. Well done.

I like this reviewer. He seemed really enthusiastic over the car and mentioned a lot of details.
gorgeous! And it's nice to see the reveal done in a rugged setting
This will be my next truck, very well done! Love the 50% less button thing, the sanitary appeal to this vehicle is very similar to newer Rolls Royce. Very impressed!

Wow! It's a beautiful car! Thanks for review it was really interesting!
this car is perfect. speed, luxury , comfort and more i mean the only negative this is it's kinda expensive. and this is a damn good review too

Really informative review. You have a new subscriber.

i need this in my life.
I went to the NY auto show. I was pleasantly surprised that we were allowed to sit in such an expensive new model.
love this car so much! i was looking for a good review of the 2013 haha
Finally I found a review! Which is also pretty nice, i get all the information I want.
I know, it's sad but true, I can't afford to buy such a car, but thanks for giving me the car-feeling :)
I think like you have got to be kidding me I so this just 7700 us dollars
Best SUV in the World, by a country mile. Great video.

Brilliant review!

I was about to say the same thing, I enjoyed the music more than the review lol
Amazing review...

2013 Land Rover Range Rover Autobiography - First Drive Review - CAR and DRIVER
I did not like Austin´s review on the Tesla Sport, but this review was good. Thanks ;)
It looks so nice

I am not entirely sure of that 83,500 price tag though mentioned at 1:14
Does America get the TDV8 version? That's the best version...
Great SUV - Great video! Good job Mike! But wow, over $100,000.00! When the automobile starts to cost as much a house, then one might, just might take pause...still I would love to own one, in red! Thanks again MIke for another good review...
What's the point of locking the differentials? Is it so you can accelerate faster, or does it have to do with climbing steep inclines?...
***** the second one
It's still amazing that such a car doesn't come with remote start up...i believe that should be the basics in such a ride...):
I liked it too :) Seeing the details is important
LOVE THE NEW RANGE ROVER! I WANNA WORK FOR YOUR COMPANY!!!
Great review....others should take note.
Good video! Dad just got this because he crashed his Aston martin :/ It is a beautiful car!
what a beautiful review. and the host is so enjoyable making the entire video very balanced.
Ohh and an amazing car, by far the best 4 x 4 nothing touches it!
Legit review. Seriously.
nice vid buddy!

7:54 = two beautiful shots!
Good review
Deep snow would be awesome. But this is great.
I love this machine !
Didn't you had any problems with the 20" wheels? can you actually go over big rocks with those tires?.. great review by the way
i preferred the last generation. In the words of jeremy clarkson the new RR is a car for today but the previous generation is a car for forever. The new styling doesn't offer quite the same appeal as the last generations did.
wow that's one nice ride

and the king still reigns
good review
It's 2021, does it still run?
ever noticed that only GM-cars come with that option?

does anyone have an idea what the music is towards the end?
The ultimate SUV by far. I will never own one but to drive one or even a ride in one would be nice...oh well.
I can't wait to get one!!!!
Will it break down as often as all the other land rovers?
Recycled parts and aluminum scares me but. The useful tech make me love it for it's increase drive ability. One day:P
2nd best range rover review
will you be even able to sell this thing let's say by year 2020 i say this because by that time people will relay more on hybrid cars and diesels i guess.. probably cars like the tesla will be the new range rober for some
wow!!! just wow ! awesome car!
Massage seats are great.
Great review. The Range looks pretty and is capable, but it wont last long before all the electrics on it fail. Land Crusier please.
LOVED IT!
