Thank you!!! I’ve been looking for an example of it foreveeerr.
One other question ***** - I've also heard that treefrogs (like red eyes) don't do well with the fogger because they can get respiratory infections, and its better to stick with misting. Have you heard that? I can't find anything online about it so I dont know if its just a rumor. (asking these questions on youtube rather than emailing because I imagine the answers will be useful to others seeing this video)
Also- do these create a sufficient amount of humidity within the enclosure? We're trying to maintain a level of 65-75% humidity for an iguana.
I had one of these once, it lasted like two months before the nebulizer crapped out.
Rip lmao
got the same one.. and i change the water EVERY SECOND DAY.. by the way.. the cable from that fogger goes trhough the same hole like the other cable.. so it goes under or better say,,, trough the waterfall
( u can see an extra place for that cable on the left site at 1:57)
i love the large one but the one big issue is tht the resign does not stop slime molds from growing. the waterfall gets collonized in a week. so you have to clean it often.
How do you plug it in, is there a hole in the tank for the cord to go from the tank to the outlet
Some terrariums have holes drilled, but most have lids that have cord spots to run out of the top.
Just ordered one for my BD. It's great!
I think the cord for the fogger is suppose to go under the fogger pocket and out the back with the waterfall pump cord; right?
I purchased Two Repti waterfalls and both after 3-4 months had there pumps failing on me. I was told its because I did not keep the pumps clean even though I used to rinse the waterfalls and pumps every 2-4 weeks.
I would not recommend purchasing one.
Did you use distilled water?
où est-ce que tu l'a acheté ? je pourrais avoir le lien s'il te plaît
I wish they still made this model!
How would you get the chord out of an exo tera
i am thinking about the small size, how would i be able to get the cord out of the tank. I want to put it in my anole and long tailed lizards tank. Would i have to drill a hole in the tank?
Do the veilds ever drink from it and will it keep the huminity that u need for the veild
Should I use the fogger with the heat light? I've noticed my humidity decreases when the heat light is on but when it is off, it raises back up.
I did mine today and it’s lukewarm is that ok I wanted it to be cool?
We are building a custom bird cage (very big and jungle-like); I am wondering - does this waterfall have any way that it could possible run on batteries? The reason I ask is that I would be concerned about the birds chewing the electrical wires. Are there any ways to keep the wires contained within the unit or something?
Thanks.
Does that particular fogger just create an effect or will the viv humidity also rise when the fogger is on? If the humidity level is increased with use, then how much humidity does it add (roughly)?
Great water fall I want to know how to plug the fogger inside the tank
Hi ***** I have an ExoTerra Waterfall and am considering ordering the fogger from you - but have read MANY reviews from people who say they break very fast and are of poor quality. Given that you have probably a "larger sample size" by seeing this used very often, can you tell me if you think its worth getting the fogger? I don't want something that will break quickly. Many reviews say they break within 2 weeks to 4 months, and then have to buy a new one.
Is something like this suitable for an Emperor Scorpion enclosure? I know they require a forest-like enclosure and also humidity - I like the look of this, but would it be suitable?
Can I put this in my beadie's terrarium? He doesn't drink much and I would like to worry about it less. I know the small would be better but I have the medium?
What about Ball Pythons?? I have mine in a EcoTerra Large, like the one in your Bearded Dragon set-up video...I like the idea of a waterfall in the enclosure for humidity but do you think that it would be too much??
I have a different type of waterfall however it keeps flooding my tank. Every time the frog sits in the bottom section it overflows at the front causing a flood. Have I put too much water in???
Connor Bennett yes to much water do it half way
can this be put in my pacman's tank? keeping the humidity high is a pain. also if i did would i use a fogger?
I'm definitely getting this
Excellent review. Thanks!
Is this suitable to add to a exo terra rainforest kit for a BABY iguana?
will it fit in a 12x12x18 exo terra terrarium (medium size) or will it take most of the of the space?
how can i change the water flow cuz it's slow coming out i got one used & did'nt come wit directions i don't want to break something? heh thankx
How long would you recommend leaving this on for? I have the same set up just with the small waterfall. I'd prefer to leave it on all the time has I have a fairly large tank (exo terra Tall Large) with dumpy's.
these are so different compared to the new ones
will a medium waterfall be good enough for a baby leopard gecko or will it be to big
how often you have to change a water ? once a day ?
How often does the water need to be refilled or changed?
THANKS, LOOKS NICE.
What size of a waterfall would be good for a exo terra 24x18x36
I Love Your Waterfall! Your Chameleon Must’ve Enjoyed it!❤️❤️❤️😍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Will be doing this with a large size in my Paludarium
one of my dragon just bit my other dragon on the hand really hard and it can't walk good no more, and my dragon that bit the other one wants to go back with the other dragon what should I do
Seperate the animals in two different terrariums and go to a veterinery who knows how to handle reptiles
could you use this In a crested gecko setup ?
It would work nicely
how do we make the cord run out of the cage
would you be able to put this in a frilled dragon cage?
I won't to buy 1 like this , I entered ur website and u don't have it ? How I can order one like this??
This video is from years ago and the no longer make the product. Look at the zoo med skull water falls though. Foggers built in with LED lights too. They look amazing! They are on our website :)
Can I Put a waterfall and a repti fogger in a crested gecko cage?
what can i use to clean it if i have hard water
Is there a way that I can just buy the pump?? id like to build my own waterfall with a larger basin for my hermitcrabs so they can bathe and drink in it.
Yes. Go to our site and search for Exo Terra Repti Flo 200 Waterfall Pump. It won't let us post the link here. They are $9.99 :)
Will the medium fit in a 20 long for my ball python and a viewrarium for my green tree?
Would this be something you could put inside of a Leopard Gecko cage?
I have 3 of them but no foggers:(
Can the waterfall run if it is in water? Dose the water fall come with a filter and fogger?
It does not come with a filter or fogger, and the fountain should be able to be put into water, there shouldn't be any reason why it cant be.
Can I put a waterfall in a iguana tank?
what tip of lizzard do u have in the thank
chris
Chameleon
👍 what are the dementions of the small one?
would this work for my year old kingsnake?
Do you have to pour the water in the reservoir or the pump ?
The pump sits in the reservoir, yeah you pour water in it and check every other day
Will just the waterfall be a good decoration for a leopard gecko or no?
Destiny Munoz to much humidity
Would the waterfall be okay for a pac man frog?
Do You guys sell one small enough for a 12x12x18?
what is breed is the little egreen lizard she put on the waterfall?
+Von Mudd looks like a yemen chameleon
Would happens if the animal goes in the heater will it die and burn in there ? Or is that not likely
No, it wouldn't burn or die if it touches any part of the fogger or pump. The fogger can warm up the water, but it's not hot enough to burn.
The fogger doesn't actually heat up to create fog, its vibrating 1.7 billion pulses per second molecules are released from the surface, and the water vapor evaporates making the fog/mist effect. The heat is caused by the friction and since its in cold running water it shouldn't be a problem.
Is this good for a Mangrove Snake?
We’re to buy mediums size???
the fogger comes with it right?
Ok so i want a crested gecko in a 12x12x18 exo tera and if i did this and left it on all day would it provide me with around 70% humidity like you need? i need help plz!
Knife Love'Ah Hard to say, it can help bump humidity but exactly how much varies depending on the setup.
Can it be used for Leo's?
Will they drink out of it
i cant find this in the store, is it sold out or am i just looking in the wrong categories?
+battered bronco Exo Terra changed their waterfalls a while back. So they are slightly different now, but lots of new choices. You can find them in the waterfalls section on our site.
Where does the cord plug in to?
would this be bad to put in with a ball python? I want to get a ball python really bad, and I thought it would be really cool to have a fogger to sometimes help with the humidity on super dry days, but wasn't sure if they would find it annoying or if it would be too much for a ball python since they aren't super tropical like a green tree python or something.
Thanks in advance!
YOU CAN GET ONE if youd like one, just becareful with the humidity, too high can cause issues just as much as too low. There are better ways to achieve humidity though if thats your only criteria. Bedding plays a role in it too. Certain beddings hold humidity better than others. As far as a waterfall goes, it only works well if the snake 'dislikes' it. ie leaves it alone. I put one in one of mine once and they snake enjoyed it and was climbing on it every night and because of that, hed cause the water to run everywhere BUT back into the resovir and flooded his tank regularly. I eventually just took it out.
oh ok that makes total sense. Thanks so much!!!!(:
+Synforevera7x Anytime. I have a ton of balls. if you need any more help or advice. feel free to msg me. I'm always glad to help
alright awesome dude thanks so much! I want to get a ball python really bad, probably will within the next year or so. So I'll probably hit you up then. haha(:
+Synforevera7x Of course. They're unbelievable animals and so much fun. Relatively cheap to maintain. Just a good start up cost of around 200-300 plus the snake. Look into the morphs too. I didn't even know different colors existed when I bought my first one.
Wanting this to help keep humidity up for rainbow boa enclosure
Did you get one?
@@lastblood8550 no decided to hold off until I move as I already have 3 snakes and want to wait to get more
Could I use this for a leopard gecko ? Also what other reptile could I use this for ?
Dude high humidity on a Leo = death.... wtf
Not all of them are leos only the orange bumpy little carrots
So pretty! Would this be good in a ball python terrarium?
I know it’s 8 years later but I think it could work since Ball Pythons could use higher humidity!
it's the cords water proof
Can you have small for crested geckos
and is this waterfall is good for bearded dragons.
would this be fine in a corn snake cage?
johnnick2001
Depends on how humid the air in your living space is, if it is more arid, it would be fine. If the air is more humid, I wouldn’t recommend it. Sorry this is 7 years later lol
Thanks for the info. : )
Where can I purchase this? The link doesn't work and I can't find it online anywhere.
They stopped making this model. Lots of different waterfalls with built in pumps are on our website though (lighter weight too) at www.LLLReptile.com :)
LLLReptile and Supply Co, Inc. Thanks so much!
Same here!! I really want one that I can also put a fogger in. Really sucks they stopped making them.
Does the fogger make humidity
Yes
how do they waterfalls not overflow?
mykenziebug1 because the water flows back inside and cycles
Awesome
Will chameleons drink from waterfall
Evan Serynek yes
Nope they dont :( i have Chameleons and they dont Drink from the Waterfall. Its also a risk your Chamäleon can die
I not really a fan of that design as the gap for the dogger is to big and will allow that size of chameleon to just wonder in and be biked really
What type of lizards would this be good for?
Dah Beast Most anything tropical. Frogs, water dragons, green tree pythons, etc
If I were you, I'd do the 24x18x12 Exo Terra. Your geckos would be much happier. The 18x18x12 is about 17 gallons(at least 20 reccomended for two). The 24x18x12 is about 22 gallons. If you got the 18x18x12, you would be giving your geckos a slight downgrade.
Could I use this for a red eyed tree frog
It would work AWESOME for any kind of tree frog
I have a screen lid
THIS IS SO SMART
Could u use that for leapord geckos ?
I wouldn't, they require a more arid environment :)
Could this be used for hermit crabs without the risk of drowning
LLLReptile, can you make a gargoyle gecko setup video
Same as a crested gecko setup.
I'd love this for my chinese water dragon, though i prefer to have a small pool at the bottom for him to wade in
Make a small pool for sure. We had our paladarum setups heater fail and for 3 days our water dragon would stand over the water on a screen mesh just watching the water.
You could partially submerge the waterfall's base with substrate and have it cycle into and from the wading puddle
Which reptiles would like this?
Cresties and camelions
+Kaito Shiotsu thanks! I wanna get this for my cresties
my corn snake LOVES it
I am worried about a baby corn snake getting in those holes where the pump and such is. Can it hurt them?
O ok then just wanted to know thank you just didnt wanna take the risk !!
so you wouldnt buy one of these for a beardie?
no, the humidity will raise too high for your beardie which can lead to a respiratory infection
+JohnEgbertEctoBiologist That's not really accurate. Baby Beardeds require much more water than adults, and live in humid holes in the wild as babies as well. Humidity really isn't a huge issue, and waterfalls don't create all that much. There are lots of Bearded Breeders in Florida that raise them outdoors, and the biggest Bearded facility in the world is in El Salvador. Waterfalls are no issue for them in the terrarium.
would this harm a bearded dragon?
charles lucky luciano Not really necessary for them. They don't require that much humidity.
I thought waterfalls end up being full of bacteria?
would a gargoyle gecko like it?
Vorastrix
Depends on the gecko’s opinion
