Love that tip about softening the edges of the machine-cut pieces. That edge is why I haven't bought a machine - I just love the finish that a die gives. I know...seems ridiculous, but there we have it.😃

I couldn't agree more, that's the reason I took for ever to get around to buying one.. Useful for some things but not as nice as dies.

What a wonderful idea. I did something similar with a jigsaw app. I took a photo of my beloved and myself together, made it into a jigsaw puzzle and left one piece out. Then used the caption, you are the missing part of my life. He really loved it. I’ll have a go at your way next. Thanks for another great demo. - Dawn 🌅

Hi Christine....another CAS cute card from you, dear. I guess I am fussy too, because I also prefer the edge of a diecut piece as opposed to a straight on cut or fussy cutting. The tip you gave to use a ball stylus is just FANtastic and you can bet that I'll be using that tip. It was great when you showed the impact that 'mat layers' have as opposed to adhering them flat, and also how adding dimension makes such a difference....we could actually 'see' the added interest it gave to the card. It really is striking how 'the little' things make all the difference in the world. Thank you for sharing, Christine! Gentle hugs from Canada, N
PS: Shipping is expensive to Canada and it's very difficult to find Presscut products here but when I saw those 'Super Size Nesting Dies' on a UK website, I 'bit the bullet' and purchased all the sets, Rectangle, Square, Oval, Circle, Hex and Diamonds. As you say, Christine, they are just a-mazing and I don't have any regrets. Once I received them, I ended up selling all my other standard size nesting dies which well covered the cost of shipping.

One viewer told me that because I didn’t put my dies away as I used them, or the lids back on my ink pads, I was putting people off watching my videos. I’m afraid it’s a bit late to try to teach an old dog New tricks! Fortunately I haven’t received too many negative comments, so I guess I’ll carry on ! 🤍🤍🤍 thank you!

I really needed that vellum tip! I love my Switch and I'm crafting way more now but who ever thought I would think that any die cutting machine had too much pressure. I'll have to try your glue stick tip also. I use liquid glue on my foam tape but I think the glue stick would be much easier. As always, a wonderful video and it's a great start to the day/afternoon when I see that one of your videos is up.

I’m so glad you’re back! Missed you whilst you were away. I love your style; both cards and teaching. Interesting you should comment about sides of …I think you said silhouette?…I’ve got a scanncut yet prefer dies for the same reason…I often think the underside of the scanncut looks better….I shall try your tip. I still haven’t tried the sentiment on the computer..I watch your tutorial and think…I can do it….then don’t try! I really need to do it.
Just 1 quick question…if you only put foam tape around the edge does it dip in the middle? I ask because I sent a lovely (if I say so myself) card through the post and when I visited and saw it I cringed…it had got quite battered in the post, made me reluctant to post cards again.
Sorry for the essay….keep the videos coming! Thank you

Thank you so much, it's great to have been missed. I haven't seen any cards which have been ruined in the post, but that doesn't mean it hasn't happened. Have a go at computer sentiments... Sometimes you just need something you don't have a stamp for!♥️
