I am confused as to why you switched from the DETACHABLE to the trimmer and then the Master when the entire cut could have been done using the 76 right?
TheExpatStylist only if you have all the blades necessary. And even still, being able to feather with the adjustable clippers gives you more blending power than switching blades with the 76
Im no professional but I can fade just fine with Oster 76. These new barbers suck and need those little adjustments. They dont know clipper over comemb either which can fade very fast near the crown of the head.
I like how the metal blades made the fade look! I have 76s & I never use them, but I've been thinking of using them for when I do anywhere from a #1-3 on top. Looked pretty clean.
@theexpatstylist yes, the whole cut can be done with the 76. This was a very long and unnecessary process. end result is what matters i suppose but he'll do 1 haircut for every 2 I do!
Tom Printz I rather sit longer in the chair and get good rest and appreciate the man's passion for his craft then get something fast and kicked to the curb and forgotten about within seconds. just saying. it's like whenever anyone cooks and uses different elements in the process and by the time we eat , you could taste the love that went into it and it tastes that much better.
Joshua Espinoza Thant’s not the point bro if someone really loved the craft they’d learn how to do the whole fade with detachables because that’s the professional way
@@joshuaespinoza2567 WOW! This is 2 years old already lol. Anyway, I get that YOU would rather sit longer in the barber's chair, but we as barbers, also need to make money. I could do this haircut (JUST AS GOOD) in half the time. Asses in seats is how we make money, and with only so many hours in a day more asses = more money. You can understand that, right? It doesn't mean barbers are money hungry assholes - we love what we do - but its also a business.
Hi I am learning to cut my own hair using the Oster 76 classic. I need help understanding which blades/comb attachments to use for a low fade. Also, if I add a 1/16 comb attachment to the Oster 000 what does that make it in mm? Do you have to add certain comb attachments to certain blades? My setup I use the Andis Outliner blade .1mm to skin the back and sides, the Oster 0A 1.2mm blade on the top and the Oster 000 0.5mm to fade, I also own an Oster 1 1.2mm blade which I don't use as I find it too high on top. Any feedback is much appreciated
you where blending with another clipper man, i was in prison as a barber and all we can use is 76 and 3 guards 000 1 and 2 everything else with comb. the way to blend is using the rake technique. have you seen that ? the way you hold the 76er like a pencil looks like you know the rake technique
rmiran In school everyone was doing fades with tapers and guards. It wasn't for me. I just use my 76 and clipper over comb it. Gives a smooth fade. I can't be bothered putting in lines I have to wipe out.
+Cody Walker Jr. When I began school and needed to purchase different clippers beyond what school provided I found a guy who sharpens blades + repairs clippers. He sold me a nice set of "previously owned" Oster Classic 76 and Oster Model 10 for only $60/ea. He even offers warranty. Find him on Instagram at: keep_it_sharp
This is the cleanest fade I ever seen on TH-cam. Even the so called best in the world cannot feather like you can without seeing the lines or specks here and there. I got a excellent vision and damn I can't see anything wrong in the fade. I'll bet money on you anyday bro. thanks for a sick ass technique.
Just got back from the barber today that whal doesnt cut as clean which is why its easier on the eyes but I can tell which cut cleaner when adding guards.
Yo, I give this cut a b minus only because the shape up was not crispy at the corners. If you look closely at the line up you can see that the corners are slightly off.
Explanations or a narrative would be helpful and this didn't show how to fade with just the Oster 76. People tell me they use that and then I see something like this with an entire arsenal of clippers.
Sense this seem to be haircutting troll chat, I'm just gonna say if your banging out 12 different clippers just to do this little fade, you almost can do this with no guard at all. Bick head one day, wait two weeks, and fade with no guard. I mean I can see if the cut is real work of art, and needs like 17 different clippers for crazy ass blow out or something.

Yeah definitely click bait
Zelus Brand agree
TheWetShavingBarber yes it can be done

damn thats crazy..i use the wahl balding trimmer..and I'm bout to buy a oster 76 which is why im here watching the video
Stellar fade
What is the name of the razor for the lineup
Good video. Is that T Master zero gapped?
Why the shavers? That cause ingrown for his hair type.
Nice vid... the hell with the haters...!!!
Ohh boy, you’re about to get roasted 👀.Switch master.

Bro thats totally where i perfected my fades as well except it was some wierd off brand detachable clippers.
He'll yeah bro.. I got it thanks👍🙏!!!
I thought this was a video on how to cut with the oster 76.. smh
What’s the purple and gold shaver u used for the bald shave?
kn0ckamus its a wahl shaver shaper
why not bald out with the 76?
outliner blade!!! 20$ .. instead of 30 for the wahl balding clipper
Or even 00000. Imperceptible difference between 00000,000000 and outliner. Tenths of a mm i really wasted money on the outliner since i have 00000
good haircut except you have to go to a barber again in 3 days
Balkan Intros thats why you go to learn how to do your own fade, instead of paying $25 every week!!
Nice vid
Does anyone know any alternative for the oster 76er thats more budget friendly for a beginner
yes... Oster Outlaw..

ya. thats a better option. better quality. the oster outlaw is the chinese version. im sure its not the same quality
the outlaw is a decent clipper. not on the same level as the 76 but still decent.
there is something on wish too. it looks like a 76 but its black.

Clean fade ... don't listen to this haters ...
Joel Juarez
forealz
Nice!!
What number is that purple guard
thats a 1 1/2 on top not a 2
I could do this with wahl magic cordless
0 - half one and 1 half top
Done no need for 76
Just got back from the barber today that whal doesnt cut as clean which is why its easier on the eyes but I can tell which cut cleaner when adding guards.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍
You said #2 on top, but use a 1 1/2
Osita Echebiri
lol. omg then use the 1 1/2. silly

that fade is so sharp, i cut myself watching it....
ripped those corners
you nice son word up..I C why u switched up even though you could reused then 76s da whole way. using da guard AFTER gives it a more crispy look...
Blackn' Proud not really.. it can look crispy with guards or blades.

Nice fade video and keep the videos coming.
change your description
Nice job bruh, I'm working up the nerve to bring out the razor... still in barber school.
u doing all the shit thats not necessary
Jay The Barber he took out the t-outliner after the balder. why ?
Jeremy Carmouche wondering the same thing. He created a higher line that's all it seem to do. Strange
clean face B👀👍👌
What is this? Is it oster 76 faded his hair? .. Or andis master faded his hair I'm confused! Why you used 76 oster? Plenty of time been wasted

This is happens when only communist sponsored people can cut hair legally due to "health" concerns.
I couldn’t find 000000 , it’s only had 5
The 6 000000 is Wahl blade
Same issue! Thanks for clarifying that it's a Wahl blade.
YOU LIED.... PERIOD.... TAKING MY SUB BACK
Egg head🤣😂🤣
Here's another fake Barber using a dirty ass Clipper brush on someone skinhead. This technique is not sanitary do not use it viewer.
Why fade hair so short, just save your time and make customers get one length all over
Negrodamus you have to do what the customer ask, not what you want
