Ive used this for the summer using a pi and a tablet. Worked ok, glitchy connection sometimes but good display for in our van. Since had to wipe the pi and didnt go for the beta options on reinstall, may let it get fully released first. Personally i preferred the new gui over the original
finally updated it to 3.20, was not sure at first.. what I am the guy that likes things if its not broken why change it? haha. 1 question for Shawn, is there a was to have the screen go into sleep mode and wake it up with a screen tap like the 3.13? thanks again for what you bring to the Solar world sean from Montreal
I’m going to wait at least until I have some upgrades installed and tested. Got a Lynx BMS and Victron 12/200 lithium batteries along with a Multiplus 12/3000.
Thanks for info! I now have the update and found the display blanking feature after xx minutes is not working. Do you know this to be an issue with this Beta version?
It’s is beta and changing. Thanks for the feedback back. Here is a good place to go for up to date info and to post feedback to Victron. community.victronenergy.com/index.html
Do you know if you upgrade from the large OS does it install the large beta OS?, as I am running Node-Red out of the large version and don't want to lose my Red-Node input outputs streams
I downloaded the latest at was v3.30_35. It doesn't look exactly like yours. One annoying thing that I noticed is that the history is backward from VRM... newest date on the left. Also, the back arrow or switches in the upper left don't always appear, but the functionality appears to probably be right.
It can be a very good starter option. The Cerbo GX does offer some advantages and has come down in price over the years. As a company that supports the products, having the historical data to review is critical for troubleshooting.
Oh for sure, I’d love to see some color coordination with input and output types. On the other hand it brings some of the features of guimods in to the stock firmware.
cheers, I wondered how to access that. Works amazing in my new 3rd adventure van.
I like the new one visually, I am looking forward to giving it a whirl.

Oh definitely, let it shake out some.

Loading it now. We shall see...
Report back what you think for sure
How do you get the weather to show?
Its looks a lot more professional
Definitely better looking. More adult looking. The olde colorful UI looks like "Little Tikes"
2023-12-02: The here announced beta versions are (temporarily) no longer available for download, in favour of v3.13 beta testing.
I am missing the extra page for the relais. In the new version I have to go through setting and relais to change the state or even just see the state.

I don’t know.
@@sotasolar Just went down that road, you don't lose anything on Red-Node, but the beta large OS doesn't have the new GUI 2.0

Dude, thanks for the demo! Awesome! Clean your screen beforehand next time. XD
You're not wrong
@@sotasolar LOL Nice reply.
Do the “electron dots” flow around in an animated fashion on the new one?
They do flow in the new one.
It’s starting to look like Renogy One monitor
I was considering getting a Cerbo device but it isn't really necessary any more. Victron Connect with instant readout is quite good now.

I notice when i have mine on the beta my display does not sleep. Anyone else with this problem?
It is beta :-) log the issue in the community thread on the Victron forum.
@@sotasolar Thanks for that. I'll just wait until that's fixed then
do you have the file for my , it is not more on the website
I don’t think I can recover it from the Cerbo itself. If you find it , share a link in the comments.
bonjours on peux plus telecharger la version beta venus os 3.20 ????
I’m rusty on my French - if you’re having trouble I hear Victron possibly pulled this beta release temporarily.
yes Yes he offers it more in beta nobody the! Venus OS V3.20 ~ 30
Too early to make a decision. Currently prefer old UI with GUI Mods

you should have cleaned your screen... ;o)
