I really feel another year Amrabat will be a completely different player, that second season is always important and it's not like he will cost much.
Despite sitting on the bench for so long, he has kept himself in such a great shape that he can jump in and play two 90 minute games. That is a pro mentality.

apart from the mistake against city, amrabat hasn’t been bad. he was a conductor for us at the beginning of the season before the AFCON but it always went unnoticed, now we’re at rock-bottom (for this season) he’s putting in the same actions he did but only getting noticed due to situation

If we can get Amrabat for cheap he should stay as a backup CDM. Only as a CMD tho, playing him out of position nearly ruined him.

Man U shouldn't sack any mangers until they have a starting team where any 6 could get into Man City, Liverpool or Arsenal, atm none can so sacking the manager is pointless it's the players that need replaced. Why I vote for United to sign Amrabat is, whenever we've been in the 2nd half of a tough game looking like conceding, I always feel better when I see Amrabat coming on. For me he's a fantastic back-up 6, great for rotation. And he's clearly passionate about Man United. This was also his first season, and he did virtually no preseason. I'd give him a chance to stay.

We need to sign Amad up to a new deal. His contract is running out in a year. despite what they say, I do feel we have strong wingers. For me, we really need to improve the CM, CB and FB positions. Amrabat needs to stay due to lack of depth, especially with Donny, Casemiro and Eriksen going. We can't go into a new season not having atleast a few players who have been at the club for a period of time. We'll have 4 CM's (Mainoo, Bruno, Mount and Scott) we need atleast 6 cm, and we need two who are more defensive minded. Amrabat should be considered as one with his years grounding at the club, and his relatively cheap price.
Im not writing of Antony just yet, although I always have been of the opinion he wasnt ready yet to leave Ajax. He isnt the one trick pony many seem to think he is, but he does require a decent wing back behind him. Amad played well, but Im not going along with the currency of the day; he has a lot to proof.

Amrabat actually got to play in his best position as a holding midfielder without Cas getting in his way and standing on his toes. Cas being played in defence meant that Amrabat could actually do the job that he was brought in for.

Amad recovered from his injury since December. The fact that Antony and even Omari Forson have been preferred over him since then truly makes me wonder if TenHag is truly the right man for the Job. His favouritism and stubbornness even at the detriment of the club is truly disturbing. He even admitted that the only reason he picked Amad against Arsenal was because Bruno was unable to play.
If TenHag is retained what happens next season? Will he continue to pick Antony over Amad while relegating Amad to a few sporadic substitute appearances? Will he continue to play Rashford on the left and Ganarcho on the right as his first eleven? It's truly disturbing. And based on that, I'm undecided about keeping TenHag. He seems to have something against Amad. You would have thought that his heroic performance against Liverpool in the FA cup would have been enough to earn him a starting spot in the team but no.
There's zero evidence ETH will turn this around next season. He's been absolutely awful. Most fans are hesitent because there's no manager who can come on and change this mess. Might as well keep him but there is no evidence that he did something tangible to keep him.
