I've traded the S100B, sorry. Both case backs are identical, a 4 screw screwed-on case back. This actually gives an owner easier access to the case compared to other Oceanus watches that have factory pressed case backs and are not meant to ever be opened outside of a service center.
@@solareez I had never planned on keeping it. I bought it to swap the movements between it and my S100. I prefer the way both of the watches look that way and was happy with the results but I'm going to be keeping the S100 for sure and didn't want to have a second S100.
Hi Michael, You can find used listings like this one on buyee. I can't say exactly how much wear this would represent but I would guess it's maybe between 1 to 2 years. buyee.jp/item/yahoo/auction/h1106197660?conversionType=YahooAuction_DirectSearch In particular you can at typical hot spots like the clasp but they don't give you a clear shot of the far side bracelet which is usually the most worn after the clasp.
Thank you for demonstrating the subtle details that are not visible on the website! Any thoughts on their anti-scratch performances? Is it very obvious when S100B get scratched?
I can't really say. I've swapped modules between the S100B and my S100 to get blue blue notes of the S100 dial in the black S100B case and the more subdued S100B dial in the S100. I've kept the S100B like-new and only tried it on a few times. From the used models I've seen they seem to hold up well.
The black one is amazing. Wow!
It's a gorgeous watch! Can be found new easily enough on Sakura Watches and other sites. If you look enough you can find one gently used.
I got the s100 i love it. After seeing this ill be ordering the s100b
I own two Casio Oceanus watches and think they are awesome ! I feel like they are underrated .
It's a shame they aren't better known. They have only just recently started sales in the US market again.
good initial comparison. would like to see the case backs and wrist shots side by side. thanks

@Paul R no prob, so i guess the lack of half links on s100b is one main reason for its trade. thanks again for the info.

@@paulr1917 oh. Wow. And was it completed?
Still deciding whether go for the silver or the black version
I have the silver version, but I think I'd choose the black one now xD
Can someone have a post show me how it wears after one or two years? Really want to know how the PVD coding looks after a long tern abuse.

@Paul R Thank you. I just bought my S100, and it's stunning!
Thanks. Useful comparison.
Glad you found it helpful!
Thanks for showing but talking 3/4 of the time about the bracelet maybe is a little long?🤔
To be fair, though, the bracelet is by far the most significant difference. It just looks kinda cheap to me compared to the regular S100.
Integrated bracelet, right?
Yes, both have an integrated bracelet and there's no official Oceanus offering for a strap.
