Real, actual, and possibly good video coming out next! Next year I'll probably make a more edited take of whatever I play, this kinda turned into slop at points.
I've been working on a hunting card game as well, I'm very relieved yours looks so different from mine 😅 Good luck, getting the game to actually feel like hunting is a VERY difficult hill to climb because it was like 2 years before the testing group started doing those "*gasp* No! Not Now!" Moments.
I also love the idea of a pack battle focused tcg where it’s super quick to throw a deck together and play. I’ve toyed with the idea of making one for a while but never landed on anything. Super Battle Mon looks awesome
Fun video! Japanime Tactics looks very similar to Alternate Souls (RIP): grid map, cards for movement and abilities, tcg-based but uses acrylic anime standees as visual flavor and key pieces. Picking up where AS left off it seems. Shadowverse Evolve is so good, I enjoy it immensely with a small group. We also play Neopets -- it is immensely fun, once you get the mechanics down. it is basic game play, but the paint brush / Neopets deck / Rainbow Deck / faeries / etc. have some elements to learn and get the hang of. The dice and critical hits make for some spicy fun randomness, and the deck building is really low key but a wide range of options. Really good time. Gruff looks like a hoot too, I wonder if the distribution expandable / LCG, or full on collectible? Don't like those clips though. The art is rad. Good luck with your game too!
I picked up gruff recently, it's not bad. It gets pretty grindy though and I felt like games went on slightly too long BUT the deck construction mechanics are so good, I wish other games would use the deck construction system of gruff
It's wild how gorgeous *and easy to read* Guardians cards are. So few games go for quirky and land that clean, let alone in the 90s! Neopets: Battledome is fun. I've only played a match worth of games, but it's fun to have a Pokemon-like game, but with less insane hand fixing/draw/etc. And I LOVE a round-based game. The card design isn't great right now, though.
ahh ultraman tcg i'm so digged into it i might played it again knowing my dad will beat me again and again and one more fun thing is that you say Tiga is Taiga which if you search "Ultraman Taiga" you'll get a different ultraman
@@clouddaemon4828about 6 years. I could see the Ultraman TCG doing well and sticking around for a while in japan, but not so much in NA. While Tsuburaya has been doing a big push into the international market, I think Ultraman is still just too niche to support a TCG outside of Japan. Even there, I’ve seen people say they’re struggling to find other Ultraman fans to play the game with

Its cool to see someone talk about and show off some smaller tcgs, nice vid
Broo calling shadowverse hearthstone with an extra deck is brutal 😂😂😂

Thanks! Gruff is an ECG, no booster packs, just a few complete products
You should definitely do this again
25:00 so you are slifer the sky dragon? I would have expected an infernty effect for a skeleton
I remember Guardians, it was the best trading card game art-wise, where you had a lot of anime goofy cards going around.
I'm sold on Predator or Prey. I'm typing this before I even check the Discord but a print-and -play demo would be sweet.
Haul was nice.
Ohh that why the altered heros all have a pet, the whole game it about petting them!
I would love to see you do a video on Monster Club TCG.

It's "Tiga" as in "Tea", not "Taiga". There's already another Ultraman called Taiga.
Sorry, I say "Tie-grex" in monster hunter too.
Your videos are an event. I would go to Gencon next year just to hang out with you and cardboard it up.
Keep it up!
Predator or Prey looks awesome! I was also thinking of building a Monster Hunter based game but I'd much rather play what you have created here!
Thanks!
The Gruff stats are funny. +1 weird
+1 PHAT
Good stuff!

MR. BONEZ
Any Flesh and Blood?
Unfortunately not. I didn't see them last year or this year.
Could you make a video on the death of MetaZoo?
I feel like that could be a whole documentary lol
Where can I see Predator or Prey?
In the description there's a link to the homemade trading card game server - it's on there
Ultraman has enough to fuel a card game at least as long as Fire Emblem Cipher. Whether or not the game ends up being good is a different story.
Yeah I guess we'll see. I saw yesterday that union arena got a GAMERA set. I hope we get that one in the west!
how long did fe cipher lasted?

@@CardGameCryptlol sadly I doubt we will get the gamera set
Soul masters is obviously all ai art. What garbage. Hope it fails.
not even going to consider the gameplay? CGC's game uses ai art too...
@@RarecuisineSaucegod-ig8bc I'm using it as a placeholder, I'm not selling it until it has real art.
@@CardGameCrypt isnt that what soul masters is doing?
@@RarecuisineSaucegod-ig8bc They're selling decks.
@@RarecuisineSaucegod-ig8bc nope. If they are using AI art, the gameplay is irrelevant.
