I don’t can every year but I make sure that I always have the jars and stuff. My mom always canned and then I did just to do it, mainly jams and fruit.

Well done guys. I spend most of my winter days canning. yes it is a mission time wise but soooo worth it when you see your pantry shelves stocked with home made food.

@@curmudgeinnakI go berserk on tomatoes in every way shape and form and ketchup and bbq sauce and chutneys. Then I do a years worth of meat spaghetti sauce. Then every kind of soup you can think of. I gave a lot of chutney to the girls at work last year and it’s was so popular I started selling it this year. Making bank …straight to the Alaska fund 😁😁😁

Way to go to make a guy hungry! That meal of Fiddle Heads and tuna sure sounds delicious. thanks for the life-saving lesson on picking the safe fiddle heads to eat.😟😟We'll have to check in our area. We don't have an area where there are as many as you have by you. But I'm finally able to eat the Asparagus that we planted four years ago. Delicious eating it raw right from the garden.😋😋And I know that it's safe. lol. All the best to you and Sarah. See you on the 'live'.
