Every room had three such decorative sea shells that did nothing in the toilet and someone asked why exactly are they even there. Then someone else remembered seeing those in some other hotel. It all snowballed into adding them into the movie for shits and giggles. Sadly I can't give the exact sourse, I only remember that I read the interview in some airline company's magazine during a long flight and that info somehow stuck with me.

Talking about the tiny laser discs in the movie, I can't believe nobody brought up that they looked like Game Cube discs that would come along almost 10 years after the movie.
My father tells me how he went to a prescreening of Demolition Man in Helsinki. The place was filled with Sylvester Stallone fans, who had hilarious reactions throughout the movie. Everytime Stallone's character was talking shit to some other character, the fans went "Go Sly! Kick his ass!" and whenever he did kick someone's ass, they clapped in awe.
Doesn't Predator 2 take place in 96 or 97? And also features the LA riots escalated to all out war? Same universe confirmed! I demand Demolition Man vs Predator!

I always assumed that the "Three Seashells" was a frontpanel to an overly elaborate mechanical system that managed to clean your rectum in a very advanced and efficient way. They just look so machine-like with their silvery tinge and they look almost built in to the wall. Not once did I ever believe that they were actual seashells. XD

I am rewatching this in September of 2020 and I can not express how disappointed I am that every time I give someone a "mellow greetings" they just kind of stare at me blankly.
Demolition Man was originally a Police song so it came out way before the movie... if it was an original song it would have been eligible (and the academy would still blow the choice)
I like the new direction, adding inside jokes and satire-like commercials to the videos really make it a more complete thing. The commercials actually compliment the homages and makes it feel like you're watching one those old review tapes. Also nice to see you guys just having some fun, looking forward to new videos!
Rental reviews is easily becoming one of my favorite series. I usually hate group reviews on stuff, but I really find you guys entertaining and it's usually good fucking flicks.

I actually ran across some DVDs that were the size of game cube games. That's why most disc trays have a smaller recess in it

I like the new direction, adding inside jokes and satire-like commercials to the videos really make it a more complete thing.
The commercials actually compliment the homages and makes it feel like you're watching one those old review tapes.

Rental reviews is easily becoming one of my favorite series. I usually hate group reviews on stuff, but I really find you guys entertaining and it's usually good fucking flicks.
