That's a great Crappy video!! I am primarily a bass fisherman but my grandson is cutting his fishing teeth with me on crappie at the moment. We'll catch a handful of bass throughout the day and then hit the brush piles out by the marina and catch 20 or 30 crappie in less than an hour. Great fun :-). Thanks for the tips
Good deal. We got some more from our successful fall and winter crappie fishing. More on how I find the piles and determine which ones to fish to save time and effort.
Loved this video man, you simplified it. You took the "rocket science" alternative facts out of it.....If I catch just ONE that size.....just ONE...is all I am asking...LOL
Thanks man! Stick with it man. It took me a couple years to get dialed in on this lake. There are much better crappie fisherman than me on Kentucky Lake that's for certain. But I've enjoyed the process as it's finally paying off for me now. I cleaned hundreds last fall that were between 12-14 inches.
You cleaned HUNDREDS? WOW! I do not think I have even seen 25 at the most. There may be much better fishermen there than you, but you seem to be doing pretty well in whatever order you fall in. I would trade positions in a second! Good show man, keep sending those videos to TH-cam!
+Richard Crosby SR Hi Richard, we have a lot of good content on Lowrance's StructureScan. Take a look at our "electronics" playlist and you'll find some fresh content that should help you out. Thanks
I have two more expensive rod/reel combos, but I can still slay with those cheap spinning combos from Walmart! I usually just let the cheap spinning reel lay down with a minnow while vertical jigging. Don't forget to keep a foot on the rod though! I've lost a few rods over the years lol.
Great high quality video bro! Do you have separate transducers for your bow unit and your unit at your helm? Or do you have your bow unit transducer mounted to your trolling motor?
Thanks. Yes separate. So I always want to make sure I know exactly where the pile is. My front graph transducer is on the trolling motor. So if I get right on top of it with my trolling motor. I know the tree is right below me when I see it on my graph.
This guy is great! Enjoy all of the videos. 🙂🎣
I appreciate that!
I love my Wally Marshall rod, and with Garmin's live scope its pretty much a video game. Great video

Very good info & if used you'll be on crappie in no time.... key point is put the time in scanning to find the brush ten execute..... NICE

Even though you had expensive gear, thanks for emphasizing you don't have to pay alot to catch fish.
I still slay crappie and bluegill with a $50 setup (that price includes, reel, rod, line, lure, everything).

Adam Burge
Adam Burge $50.00 rod/reel combo and $50,000 boat and electronics. Yep, you don’t have to have expensive gear to catch Crappie like this. 🙄

Do your rods have a fast tip or moderate?
I use a 7-foot medium light rod most of the time. I believe the power is medium-light and the action is moderate. www.lews.com/rods-wallypro.php
Do you feel that the guides on this rod are good for a slip bobber as well?
Nice video, props!
Great video
Appreciate it!
Great video.
Where do u get the lure set ?
Hi Trey, we have all the product links in the video description. Thanks for watching.
Is that Kentucky Lake?
Hi Tom, yes it is. Jason does a lot of his crappie fishing there - home waters and an incredible panfish fishery.
Great vid, thanks a ton !
You're welcome! Thanks for watching!
What lake was that?
Kentucky Lake
Biggest crappies I ever caught were on shads.
Yep... I always find the bait fish and slay the Big Crappie...
20$ reel, 50$ rod, and 8,000$ in electronics.
lol
in California that is a small crappie
get a g Loomis if u got money for boat and fish finder
Holy cow those are dandies!
Thanks! It was a fun day that day!
What would people do without fish finders.....
Prob go fishing without them like we used to, just catch a few less fish ; )
Do you know Tabitha? Sounds like ya do....lol
😆
B
I’ve caught 62 off the same pile
If you don't need expensive electronics and fishing gear to slay crappie why did you spend $6,000.00+ Not counting the Boat...
I challenge you.
