Congratulations!!! I was just thinking about how I never emailed you with my lupus pregnancy story....here we are two years later! Words cannot describe how happy and excited I am for you guys. Enjoy every restless night, every craving, every accidental wee, the adorable clothes, the nesting, just live it up! You are on the best rollercoaster life has to offer ❤❤❤
Samantha, been thinking of you and checking on you- OMG congrats to you both!!!! This is amazing news!!! Love seeing the reactions and knowing that you are surrounded by love 🥰 I had my son at 31, but it was before I was officially diagnosed with Lupus SLE… I am so happy for you and this new adventure in your life. Please keep us updated when you have a chance 💗🙏🏼
WOW congratulations! You are the only person that I know with autoimmune hemolytic anemia and lupus and seeing you get blessed like this raises my spirits so much for my future I wish nothing but the best for you and your beautiful family🩷
Congratulations! I've been watching your videos since I was a teenager (over 10 years now!) , and back then you put me at ease knowing someone with a similar age also dealing with the daily struggles of lupus nephritis. Just a little supporter on the other side of the world in Australia! Recently had a baby who is now 4 months old, and I can say the pregnancy was great. Postpartum, my levels have dropped even further. I wish the same outcome for you! Best wishes with your pregnancy, you'll do amazing x
Hi Samantha - congratulations!!!! I recently came across your channel and love how open and transparent you are about your chronic illness. I suffer from chronic insomnia which has affected many, if not every, aspect of my life and I was really scared of becoming pregnant due to the fear of getting worse/making a mistake. However, I, too, am currently pregnant despite these fears and I love seeing people trying to live their values regardless of what they're going through. Sending you lots of love and support!
Congratulations! Praying you are healthy throughout your pregnancy and that baby is healthy as well! I have two miracle babies through having Lupus! Both very different experiences - one was a healthy and in remission pregnancy and delivery, the other was very active lupus and emergency c-section with a preemie baby. I developed HELLP syndrome and pre-eclampsia. My high risk OB didnt catch it, but my lupus doctor did. Be aware of your body and take care of yourself. Congratulations! 🎉❤
Congrats!! 🎉 Not trying to put a damper on the news, I’m just curious if your doctor has explained pregnancy when you are SSA positive. Do you have to do more frequent check ups?
The most important factor that triggers autoimmune diseases is infection. That's why you should get enough antioxidants daily. This is really important. Free radicals circulating in your body can cause infection in the body. Free radicals can be cleared with antioxidants.
Hi Samantha. Congratulations. I hope you will have a healthy child and live a healthy life with her/him for many years. My mother has idiopathic autoimmune hemolytic anemia. I wonder how your intestines work. Have you had tests for intestinal permeability? Do you have chronic diarrhea or constipation? Do you have vitamin D deficiency? As far as I have learned, all autoimmune diseases are caused by regulatory T cell deficiency. Have you had this tested?
I have many questions. I basically gave up on the idea of ever having kids since being diagnosed with lupus Nephritis in 2021. Im still on prednisone and Mycophenolate and know that it causes birth defects. Besides that even way down the line when im finally off my medication how will having a baby not send me into a masive flare?... Im sorry i dont wanna be a downer here, what you have is a miricle. I just have many questions. I trust you know what youre doing and i hope everything goes as smooth as possible for you.
It took a while for me to feel I was in a good space to even think about having children. For awhile, I didn't think it would happen for me. I am now 23 weeks and both myself and baby are doing well. I actually feel great currently but I am worried about post labor. I stopped Cellcept 8+ months before conceiving. I'll try and share more in upcoming videos to hopefully answer everyones questions.
I have two healthy baby’s and I have never had issues but recently had a relapse with my auto immune heymoletic anemia and I’m so scared how are you doing?
Oh my goodness I am so happy for you guys! It gives me hope that I'll be able to have children soon. How are you doing symptomatically - have you had any flares or anything?

Thank you! It's been a joy of an experience. Despite the recovery post-birth (that everyone experiences) everything went surprising well!

Great to hear you are doing well! Thank you for the support. ❤️
@HealWithSamantha I suggest taking a 81mg aspirin to prevent pre-eclampsia. Lupus patients are higher risk for it. Talk to your doctor.
Hi… im also lupus nephritis patient. Im on immunosuppressents right now. Im scared of getting infections. How to protect my self and my kids.
