The Meteorologist Battlecry wouldn't have gone off due to being summoned rather than played from hand. At least Hogger had a chance of doing something with the taunts.

I'm playing Wall Priest on ladder but get stomped by Bomb Warriors and Token Druids all the time... it's doing okay against Hunter if you're lucky with the draw but is very slow to start and relies too much on your resurrects. If you need taunts but pull out the Henchmen, Cleric or the Priest you're basically dead.
That's fun indeed! But don't run lifeweaver (because random druid spell can be unhelpful for lucentbark). You rather run soup vendor and couples of 3 healing to cycle your deck faster and get to lucentbark. Once you get there, you safe.. (because almost nobody run polymorph or silence this meta)
@@aersla1731 the playstyle is like the old Taunt Druid, which is basically a 'combo' deck.. You draw/tutor Lucentbark as fast as possible, play it. Use the first 5 heal, copy the Lucentbark. The goal is to make 3-5 Lucentbark on board.. Then you just hit his face once they're not clear your board
The only un winnable match is against control shaman, because they gonna have infinite hex. (in my experience, I can still play around polymorph control Mage by dropping Lucentbark on their doomsayer turn, so the next turn I'll just revive and copy it

Trump, I use book of Specter instead of power of creation, and a lot card generator like tanglefur mystic, griftah and draw card like piper (to help draw Khadgar), and the draw your elemental to draw giant. I believe most of the game with this giant deck you winning is when you can maintain tempo and drop the army of the giant as early as possible

Its pretty fun to play against now that they can't cheese you on turn 4/6 with Shadow Essence and Eternal Servitude or build a wall with Oakheart. The issue with the deck was never really the res mechanic it was more so the mana cheating aspect which was very luck dependent and felt like shit to get high rolled. I have no problem with the new res cards as they basically just function as value generators now (although I would like to see Divine Spirit HoF'd). In Wild it might be a different story though but I can't speak on it since I have very limited wild experience.
@@TheBetterGamerz In Wild right now we have warlock deck that is like big priest but on steroids. On turn 5 you can have 5 high stated demons on the board (like Malganis, 2xVoidlord, 2xDoomguard). So yea, good luck with that.

this deck sucks, have been playing it for 2 weeks non stop now. you lose constantly since 90% of your opponents are aggro and the randomness of the card draw of this deck is shit all the time.

Hand since you want to have a lot of cards in hand for cards like twilight drake and mountain giant Lock since it was originally a WarLOCK deck. It's a pretty old archetype.
Handlock is an old Hearthstone deck archetype that was pretty powerful in a couple of past metas. It relied on the Warlock hero power to draw a bunch of cards and then used cards like Mountain Giant and Twilight Drake that take advantage of large hand sizes. Another popular card before it got nerfed was Molten Giant. Other than that, it traditionally had a lot of removal and was very much considered a control deck. Slow, expensive to create, but powerful in tournaments when it was relevant.
