those individual outputs for triggering other instruments makes ALL the difference. Now I know where Prince got his early sounds and ideas. They should sell this as a combo!
This actually sounds really great! Surprising. I feel like when new gear comes out it usually takes a few months before I see anyone actually doing interesting, musical stuff with it on TH-cam. Bravo! Love this groove.
just because it has a synthesis snare drum doesn't mean it sounds like Ultravox to me. The Norwegian band Bel Canto from the eighties with the song The Glassmaker had more of those influences.
Gorgeous! Instead of thinking "boy the LmDrum sounds great!", I'm more thinking "man this guy is really good and really is utilizing that machine to the fullest" haha. That being the case, I'm wondering if I could get your opinion. Yes, I don't think the samples sound as warm and 3-dimensional as an original Linn Drum (as should of course be expected), but I have one on preorder myself, I'm on a budget and not one of those people who wants to poo-poo this machine, I'm very happy about it! So, in YOUR opinion, do the samples (whether the defaults or your own samples) sound pleasing enough for you to use this machine regularly? I'm mainly interested in it for the analog 8/12 bit filters and ease of use/workflow. I HATE screens. How does the workflow compare to other modern drum machines, and older ones (which I prefer)? Thanks for your video! I dig what you did here!
HI mate, as you have a unit there, could you tell me if it has 'Song Position Pointer' onboard the sequencer? If you're not aware of it, apologies if you are, then it allows the sequencer when it's in song mode, to follow the master sequencer exactly. So if y ou are using it with a DAW, if you hit 'verse 1' in your DAW the drum machine will automatically follow to that part, instead of just continuing to play the song through. I have been trying to get an answer from Behringer for months now with no reply. The other machines don't seem to have it and it's a SERIOUS omission for anyone who writes actual 'songs' with fills, different patterns for different sections. Thanks! 🤞
OK, I have tried it. Unfortunately without success. The song on the device always starts from the beginning. No matter where I move the pointer in the DAW. Since a song only has slots to which you assign the pattern and the frequency, we don't have a consistent song structure here either. That may be the reason.
Sign O The Times vibes, good shit! Makes me want this combo
Exactly what I thought of.

Oooo, I'm waiting to hear Midge Ure coming in singing Vienna and then Prince coming in between with 'Sign O The Times' 😄
@@A_Pt_9298 in fact I did a cover version of Vienna but with the Behringer Model D 😉
I'm not the only one who is hearing Ultravox - Vienna in this? 🤔
Almost. I hear some Kraftwerk too
yes then it turned into Opus Number 1

@ its just a reminiscent rhythm as the song Vienna, its not that complicated
Even hearing the basis for 'State Of Independence' Donna Summers version. Sounds good. It's definitely a great combo 👌
Sounds very Jan Hammer to me. Love it!
Friggin sick jam with this combo!! 🤘🐀
Good pair. Good beat. Great stuff!!
Solid.
Wow killer. thank you so much for making this
When they released Syncussion SY1 I wasn't sure about the purpose of it: now I got it
This is giving me Genesis' Mama vibes
"I won't hurt you Mama, but it's getting so hard....... OH!" Wrong song, but reminded me of it a bit.
uauu so nice, sounds like an early 12' remix of Depeche Mode, it has that sound esthetic
Dope I like your beat. First one I heard that I liked. Everyone makes these beats that are way too fast no pockets. Nice beat 👍
this seems a nice combo!
awsome. great track , video.

Goddamn that sounds awesome
Great stuff 😵💫🥁🌈😘
This sounds really nice. That is a good combination. I assume the syncussion is triggered by the LM??
@@Xazertroncharlie as you can read in the description
Ok now im in
so you can import samples on this? i can trigger dmx samples on the same machine?

@@groovedealerfeaturing-ashl6476 I know exactly what you mean. Good question. Now I'm curious too. I'll try to find out.

Amazing 🤩🥁😵💫 Is the Syncussion S&H fed from LM instrument? Sounds great
@@remigiangolec7420 No, Just triggered by trigger out 2 and 3
❤
Stereo! 😀
I wonder how much internal memory it has for sample, I can't seem to find this info anywhere
I read somwhere it is 14MB, but I can't confirm
Ahhh Vienna nice
I'm getting hints of Ultravox with a bouquet of Peter Gabriel..🍷
Oops left without liking so popped back 👍
They pair nice , the Linn clap is hideous though
@@cnfuzz I absolutely like the clap 😉
