Though the years, when you started introducing different techniques and skin care products, and eventually wearing less and less make up, you were helping me figure out not only how to cope with my acne, but also teaching me confidence and self worth. Because of that I can not thank you enough. Today I’m 20 and I still follow your tips, and as Promise said, you probably still have lots more to teach. Seeing Michelle Phan’s name and face on a video will always feel warm to me :). She’s an icon in a way that’s soft and well placed. I never knew her personally, of course, and I stopped watching her vids years before she quit making them. I hated make up back when I loved her videos. I never thought all of her makeup looks showed that well in her face. But something about her videos were special in this soft way.
I feel like the best way to learn about life is to be offline because our world today is truly growing fast and lots of pressure and higher rates of anxiety as well as depression is happening. I love Michelle and respect her for what she is doing, truly an inspiration. I hope she can write a book one day about her strength and how she overcame this crazy growing world. I don’t normally comment on any videos, but Michelle, you are the reason I started learning how to take care of my skin and how to do make up. I was around 12, maybe even younger, and I had lots of acne so I wanted to cover it up. Though the years, when you started introducing different techniques and skin care products, and eventually wearing less and less make up, you were helping me figure out not only how to cope with my acne, but also teaching me confidence and self worth. Because of that I can not thank you enough. Today I’m 20 and I still follow your tips, and as Promise said, you probably still have lots more to teach. I’d love to see you again on TH-cam ( I know I’m not the only one), doing whatever you want to do, whether it’s games, make up, life advice or all together. I really get excited whenever I see you on a video! But first I hope you are ready to come back and that you find that passion that you are looking for. 💕

Seeing Michelle Phan’s name and face on a video will always feel warm to me :). She’s an icon in a way that’s soft and well placed. I never knew her personally, of course, and I stopped watching her vids years before she quit making them. I hated make up back when I loved her videos. I never thought all of her makeup looks showed that well in her face. But something about her videos were special in this soft way.
