i remember watching this so many times when i was younger it really stuck with me
I clicked on your video by mistake and I just want to say that it was the best mistake of my life. My dad comes home drunk and my mom is so sad these days. The only way I can ignore the pain I am feeling every day is by drawing and listening to music. I don't really have a lot of friends either because my best friend moved out of the city and I feel so lonely with my friend being far away and my mom turning more sad and more cold each day. I had lost all hope and faith and your video gave me some strength. I'm really sorry about all the pain people have caused you, I'm really happy that you found and I'm really great full for giving me some hope ( I'm sorry for my English it's not my language)

I hope your situation will get better. Currently I am going through a lot of struggles, but I am still happy about my life. I love drawings and writing stories, which help me to express my emotions when I am too tired to talk. I meet amazing people on the internet who share the same interest as I am (TH-camrs, Kpop, and manga). I love watching videos from inspirational people who brighten up my day. Examples are Dan and Phil, Tyler Oakley, Joe and Caspar, Jack and Finn, and of course, Michelle Phan!
My advice is always think that "it could have been worse." There are nice people everywhere. Just 1 comment and see how many people have already reply to you and wish you the best ^^
i hope you find peace some day. i have a big family but we dont really love each other. I'm just hoping that I find some day some one who is honest to me and really likes me. I wish that to alll of you ^^

I first watched this video what I was 12 or 13 and now I’m 22 about to graduate college. I recently thought to myself, hey, “what happened to those draw my life videos” so I thought maybe I’d watch this for old times sake. When she said good luck on the next chapter of your life, it really hit me because I’m moving far away from home. Funny how life can hit you with things and you just get joy from the simple things. Thank u :) needed that inspiration and hope for the future

It’s July 2020 .. Was feeling nostalgic today so went through my TH-cam history .. 7 years ago I remember getting tears in my eyes when I first saw this video.. the same emotion overtook me 7 years later when I watched it again. Took me 7 years to muster up my courage and start my own TH-cam channel. But you really deserve all the success and happiness .. god bless 😊

I just watched this video today and I got emotional learning that you had gone through so much loneliness and pain. You have persevered and have become such a strong, successful business lady, and have found the love of your life. You are very inspirational! Big hugs and lots of love!!!
i remember watching michelle at such a young age, she really helped me find someone to look up to. i had a very similar family experience as her at such a young age and her videos and this one especially helped me through it all. thank you michelle for everything you did, your videos, makeup tutorials, etc.

I believe I first starting watching your TH-cam videos when I was 13 or 14, I didn’t understand most of what you said then but now that I come back to this at age 17....it makes so much more sense now. For some reasons, i cried half way through her video. i was so touched by her authentic, optimistic and happiness even when things at her worst.
Although the video was made 7 years ago, its still the kind of rare up to date, just like her.
2019 but i cannot recall how many time i rewatched this one video. Because whenever i feel down i come back to this, think that my life is tough but seeing this inspires me to do more. Even she is not making more videos but this one will always keep living inside of me. Thanks you for all your kindness, Mish. I love you.

I wish that my Mum would have enough courage to leave my stepdad. He's leaving me so many scars that will never be healed. But because I'm the only child and my Mum's wages isn't good enough to move out so we have no choice but to stay in his house. Everyday is a nightmare.
