Although the lake was empty for some reason, the park was still filled with stunning views and natural beauty. The magnolias were in full bloom, and their sweet fragrance filled the air, making the experience even more magical.

Parque de la Paloma is a beautiful park located in the heart of Benalmadena, Spain. It covers over 200,000 square meters of land and is known for its stunning landscapes and diverse flora and fauna.
The park features a large lake, walking paths, picnic areas, playgrounds, and an aviary with over 200 species of birds. Visitors can also enjoy the park's many sculptures, including a giant rabbit, a statue of Christopher Columbus, and a tribute to the park's namesake, the dove.

Gracias. The park is very close to the promenade/beach. It's 1 minute walking distance, you jsut go down 50-100 meters, and you're on the beach. The old town.. that's another story. The old town is far away from the promenade and paloma park. And Arroyo de la miel. You need to take a bus, or a taxi. Not sure how far away it is, maybe 30 minutes to walk there. Maybe more.
Do people sit or lie on the grass or is that not allowed?
Oh yes, you na sit or lie down. People usually bring a blanket and just sit down, relax, enjoy the sun. Some bring their chairs and tables, and have a whole picnic at the park.
