2:17 WTH??? I played this game a lot when I was a kid [I still own the cartridge] and heck I had no idea Donatello could do that attack [never saw the CPU perform it, nor any of my friends, and definitively not myself]. I've learnt something new today. Thanks, LG! Edit: 17:29 TriCHEAPeraton
This game was hard! And cheap! À good game still, need to check but I don't think the super combo were even mentioned in the manual. The tournament mode was the worst thing still. 88 fights in a row, no continues at all and in the end basically "a winner is you"
Out of the three versions of _Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters_ , the Genesis/Mega Drive version was the one I disliked the most. Not only is the game unfairly hard, but I was disappointed in Konami for not utilizing Sega's six-button controller for gameplay. While I commend Konami for going in different directions for their short-lived catalog of games on the Genesis/MD at the time, they surely could have done a lot better with this game. I will say that I think the art style was decent, although I wish this version of _TF_ was more grounded like the NES and Super NES/Super Famicom versions in contrast to the heavy sci-fi atmosphere of the Genesis/MD version. Keep up the good work.
Love this game but I hate how Donatello’s moves have to be charged for 2 seconds. Leo and Raph’a moves are like Liu Kang and much easier to use. You make every character look easy of course
Raph was godlike with his psycho crusher move and the super combo was amazing At least this version gave us characters we are still not used to see in tmnt games.
I was always confused by this game & its roster, especially when compared to the SNES version. But that intro cleared everything right up! Man this shit is so: "TARTOS EN SPACU"....Quick mockup....

To this day I don’t use the Desperation moves. They can only be done when you’re low on HP and require the use of the taunt button to pull off.
The combinations and timing are a pain to pull off but when you do, it's satisfying!
Clone Raph: Gimme your best shot!
Donnie: Ok. (proceeds to give him the worst headache of his life.)😂
this teenage mutant ninja turtles game did pretty good even on sega

Brilliant as usual keep gaming strong keep the good times alive well done
Huh, so when you fight ally characters, they will be clones instead of real characters. Cool.
I love how when Karai lands a grab outright, the round ends the same way every time lol

He already did April
@@VenusHeadTrap2: He did? In that case, I stand corrected. Thanks for the info.
The mechanics could have been much better, looking how the SNES mechanics are, that is from the same year.
That's my brother Donatello good fighter
Gimme your best shot!
今朝も完璧デゴザル😊
17:29 that was some of the cheapest sh*t I’ve seen in a fighting game yet
got damn are grabs ridiculous in this game LOL. You can damn near get killed by one multi-hit grab... that's crazy.
Typical early 90s unbalance
I've always wondered Why April looks so much like Blaze from Streets of Rage in this game?

Well it's much like guile in a way.

Don hey coming get me
Wait a minute! What the heck is he doing to Donatello at 17:04!?
He bites him.
@@hieioni3354 um....er.....that doesn't look like biting...lol.
@@tornadot2025 It does. You just have an overactive imagination.
@@hieioni3354 I dunno - his jaw is not going up and down in a biting motion. It's going back and forth in an....other... motion.
@@tornadot2025 You just think too much. He's a triceratops, he cannot do the up and down biting motion because of his beak. It's still biting to me.
11:00 Donatello is a wimp
