What a wonderfully talented young man!! I so enjoy watching you react to the music you listen to. So real, so emotional, so pure. Thank you so much for the pleasure you bring Sarah
This guy rewrote the book when it comes to playing bass. Except for maybe Jaco Pastorius, I’ve never heard anyone else who can touch him. It’s like apples and oranges with them, they’re both extremely talented but in different ways.
perfectly put! only ever saw him with bela but 98-99 peak powers light years innovation like jaco to jazz100% agree. upright paul chambers, neils henning orsted pederson, mingus, edgar meyer with bela fleck theres a track "b song" from early bonnarroo i was at goosebump stuff. electric bass these two and pino paladino for holding back, space, groove, taste ,harmony/rhythm,melody those are 3 for me holy trinity: ) marcus miller, stephen bruner, foley bit random for some played with miles and did show at charlie wrights with chris dave its madness ! j dilla style non quantized he keeps a groove in genius way. cheers
Vic Wooten is one of the most inventive and just plain talented bassists in the world. He's a musician's musician. Knows when to stay in the pocket, when to ad-lib, and when to go full-on amazing.
Nice to see people love and recognize Vic Wooten amazing bassplaying and a bass solo in general!! thanks for that. I discovered this video ib 2005 when I was a 20 yo jazz student..it blew my mind and my world!!
Thank you for the upload! Yeah, Victor Wooten is one of the greatest bass players of all time. I dropped over $100 to see him play in early 2020 but the whole Covid lockdown happened and I never got to see him (and never got my money back). I would absolutely so love to see him rock one day.
Many thanks for this. I was lucky to see Victor Wooten, Bela and the UFO TOFU era band on a reunion tour in the US about 10 years ago. They were fantastic.
ummmmm.... You play just as well ..... being you!.............. Loving, caring! :................ ) Jesus Love to you! LOVE the reaction!! :) ♥ “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe in Him so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” ~ Romans 15:13
