I appreciate how your AI squadmates aren’t useless dead weight in this game. There have been several instances where I’ll be ready to swoop down onto a tank like a hawk to it’s prey, ready to use the power vested in me to pronounce the tank and my missile husband and wife, and a squadmate missile comes out of left field and does it for me.
My favorite part of this mission is how your allies are inspired and your enemies are demoralized by your mere presence on the battlefield. at this point you've become such a legend that your presence has a serious effect on everyone.
I love how Count prior is always boosting about himself and saying how he should be the leader of the squadron, but once Wiseman is downed, Count feels the real weight of leadership crashing down on him and doesn’t know what to do.
I'm with Spencer he makes me look like I'm flying a p51 I don't use many different planes I like the f35 because of the ground bombs ....and it's looks but this mission is giving me hell for some reason now and I've beat game 3 times but can't get past this stage now so I'll try that plane
Another interesting thing to note is that the Su-37 ACF is flying in is the predecessor to the Su-30MKI/MKM/MKA/SM series of fighters. The main features the new Su-30s carry over is the canards and thrust vectoring. This in effect makes the Su-30MKM a 2-seater Su-37. On a tangent, Sol Squadron's flight of Su-30MKK/MK2/MK2V/MKV/M2 are no slouches in the skies either. This battle is even more interesting lore-wise compared to ACF's previous attempt with the Su-35S. This whole battle has a strange but equally awesome double match-ups between old and new where you have the progenitor (Su-37) facing off with its progeny (Su-30SM). On the other side, based on what we now know from the Aces at War book, had ACF flew with the Yellow 13 paint, you have an epic match-up between teacher (Mihaly) and student (Yellow 13).

my trick is to use the f22 with xsdb in the first half then when its gonna be 2:30 minutes before it ends go to the line and switch to QAAM and return and eliminate all the sols (except mister x)
I'll never not love that the first time I flew this mission I used the SU-34. Mihaly taught me that it's better at air to air for me than most fighters, and it's actually the aircraft I flew for my fastest ever ace win against him in mission 7. Far more agile than the vast majority of other aircraft in the game.

What is the Difference between LASM, LAGM, and LACM for destroying enemy Ships including AEGIS ASHORE in this mission? I don't know the differece because this is second time i played Ace Combat series After ACAH because i only have a PC as a gaming Platform... before AC Series released on PC, i was play HAWX 2, JASF, Tg hard lock, and vector thrust
LACM - slowest moving missiles, easiest to be intercepted by CIWS, low ammo count and slow to reload but makes up for the sheer destruction force and ultra BVR lock on range. LAGM - big radius explosion but low armour penetration, effective against clustered ground targets. LASM - when release will hug very very close to the sea level (or the flat ground) thus hardest to be intercept, however they can't avoid terrain obstacle. small radius explosion but high armour penetration
The LACM has great aoe and very good homing and range, but is slow and easily intercepted. It deals great damage and maintains lock even if you lose your target, meaning they're especially good for dealing with the trucks in the pipeline destruction mission, definitely not useless in any way either. LASM are great for targeting ships and other slow moving or static targets, as they speed towards their target and then spike when they get close, allowing them to get through some obstacles. They are liable to miss if you fire them too close to your target though, as they require some distance to adjust their trajectory and spike. If they hit, they deal big damage but in a small area, making them ideal for single hard targets. The LAGM are the weakest out of the bunch in terms of armor penetration, meaning they'll struggle to bring down hard targets such as tanks or ships. They do have great aoe are fast with good reload and homing, making them good for taking down massed targets such as apcs or sam sites, that don't have much armor. It's really a matter of choosing between them depending on what targets you want to take down.

that is a fairly easy mission to me...up to the point when HE shows up.. im failing but not by much, i feel like if i could land one or two more missiles while dodging a few more,the mission would end.. but i end up fried and diced.no matter what i try... playing on ps4 though, and havin a hard time keeping track of the escorts and especially of Mr.X . . .
Learn to PSM, it'll revolutionize your game play. Start with the Mig-29 cause it's easy and forgiving. Takes about an hour but don't give up cause you'll be able to do a back flip (Kulbit maneuver) and nail the pesky SAM site you over shot If you're not PSMing you're not playing the game
Hold the switch target button to focus on your currently selected target. You can keep flying and track better that way for pesky enemies. I used to exclusively play in 1st person, but always had trouble predicting the flight path of more skilled enemies until I swapped to 3rd person and started focusing with switch target. Problem solved!

Its called a Post-Stall Maneuver(PSM). There are several good videos on how to initiate them. Learn how to control your throttle while performing the maneuver and you can literally point your aircraft(ones that CAN PSM, at least) wherever you like. It adds a whole new level of maneuverabilty to the game and it is sweet once you get it down. Very crucial for doing well in multiplayer.

I really despise that Ace Combat 7 ruined the look of both Anchorhead and Farbanti, the latter being the most egregious error. The submerged district is completely different, with buildings being placed unrealistically close to the meteor’s impact crater. Additionally, the crater is now partially above the water rather than lurking ominously just below the surface. You have to play by your own rules.. a city’s overall layout should remain the same rather than changing dramatically from game to game
That part where Sol Squadron climbed altitude then made a sunburst formation is the most awesome ting I've seen in this game.

LASM is a bit more accurate for ships (kinda), LAGMs are the most powerful, and LACM are kinda useless IMO.
